Beautiful Pippa, a Saluki Lurcher came for a meet and greet this afternoon.
She was a little unsure around Dotti to start with but soon found her confidence enjoying her treats. She explored the back room and garden.She settled on the sofa and watched the world go by outside. She's coming again in a couple of weeks to spend the afternoon with just me and Dotti to continue to build her trust and confidence. You did so well Pippa see you again soon ❤️

Because we only welcome one family of dogs at a time, our availability throughout the year is intentionally very limited. This means your dogs get all the love, attention and home-from-home care without having to share their space with unfamiliar dogs. 🏡

Holiday dates can fill up months in advance, so if you already know your plans, please don’t leave it until the last minute!
2027 is already filling fast! 😱

Aldous and Louis came for a visit this afternoon prior to them coming to stay with me and Dotti.
They were very nervous to start with but began to settle after about an hour. They began to explore the house and let me stroke them.Went for a walk and they were lovely on their leads. They were happy and settled by the end of their visit. Looking forward to seeing you next week for your holiday with me and Dotti 🐩🐕‍🦺🥰

One of my regulars lovely Monty came for a short stay yesterday.
As always he was a pleasure to look after. He immediately claimed my footstool as usual. He enjoyed exploring the garden and got on well with my dog Dotti. Looking forward to seeing you again in September Monty🐕🥰🙂

Brothers Pepper and pickle came for their first holiday with me and Dotti on Monday. They were a little nervous to start with but soon settled in and were a pleasure to look after. They ate well (with a bit of added chicken for a holiday treat) I didn't time our walks very well and came home with soggy doggies a couple of times but they weren't bothered lol. Hope to see you again soon boys 🐕🥰

After two trial successful sleep overs lovely Marley came for a little holiday with me and Dotti.
He settled in really well and loved his time in the garden. He was the first pooch to actually enjoy the doggy paddling pool which was great considering how hot the weather was. He got along nicely with Dotti and had a few plays together ❤️ He ate well and always brought his empty bowl through to show me (maybe hoping for seconds) He's a big lad but walked beautifully on his lead. See you again in September Mr Marley Moo 🐕😊🥰

A lovely week last week with my daughter Misha and her family. Their dogs Jack and Bozzi came too so a bus man's holiday for me 🤣.
Every day was an adventure, I especially loved going to Thorton le Dale show which has become a tradition since my kids were little A special surprise for the girls was a trip to Flamingo land on their last day 😊🥰
