🦷 Before & After Teeth Cleaning 🦷

Give your dog’s smile a fresh start! Teeth cleaning is currently just £45, reduced from £50.

The treatment is completely anaesthetic-free and includes:
🐾 Ultrasonic toothbrush & specialist toothpaste
🐾 General plaque removal techniques and appropriate tools
🐾 A gentle, welfare-first approach throughout

I do not scrape the teeth. Scraping can damage or remove enamel, so I avoid this technique. This also means that some staining may remain. I do not scrape staining from the tooth or use whitening products on dogs — my focus is on gently removing plaque while maintaining the health and integrity of the tooth.

Your dog’s comfort always comes first. ❤️ If your dog becomes uncomfortable, stressed or unsettled during the session, I will stop the treatment. We can either try again another day or, if I feel continuing would not be in your dog’s best interests, I’ll explain why I cannot proceed.

⏱️ Sessions are up to 45 minutes, with the aim of completing as much of the cleaning as your dog comfortably allows in one visit.

✨ Top-ups are recommended approximately every 14 weeks, although regular daily tooth brushing at home can help maintain the results and may help extend the time between professional cleans.

A huge well done to everyone who took part in this year’s East Ayton, local Scarecrow Competition! 🎉

I was honoured to be involved and to be part of such a fantastic community event. Although I only managed to see a handful of the entries, what I did see was incredible. There are some amazingly talented, creative and dedicated people in our area, and it’s wonderful to see so many people getting involved.

A special thank you has to go to my dad, who designed and built our quirky sausage dog scarecrow. He brought it to life, and I’m so grateful for all the time and effort he put into it. ❤️

For me, events like this are about so much more than a competition. They bring people together, spark conversations, create smiles and help strengthen the sense of community that makes our area so special. As a small business owner, being part of community events is incredibly important. It gives me the opportunity to meet new people, support local initiatives, raise awareness of my business and, most importantly, give something back to the community that supports me throughout the year.

In a world where everyone is so busy, it’s lovely to see people coming together, sharing ideas and celebrating each other’s creativity. Thank you to everyone who took part, organised the event and supported it along the way. I already can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with next year! 🐾🌭

⚠️ IMPORTANT HOT WEATHER & ADDER WARNING 🐍☀️

A little reminder for all of my lovely customers to please take extra care of your dogs during this spell of hot weather.

I’ve recently been made aware that one of my customers’ dogs was unfortunately bitten by an adder. With warmer temperatures, adders can become more active and visible, so please be particularly vigilant when walking in areas of long grass, heathland, moorland and rough ground.

☀️ Please also take the heat seriously. Before heading out, place the palm of your hand on the ground/pavement for 5–10 seconds. If it’s too hot for you to comfortably keep your hand there, it’s too hot for your dog’s paws.

💧 Take plenty of water
🌳 Stick to shaded areas wherever possible
🐾 Avoid hot pavements and exposed paths
⏰ If possible, avoid walks during the hottest part of the day, particularly 12pm–5pm
🏠 When temperatures are at their highest, staying home and keeping your dog cool is often the safest option.

Please remember that dogs can struggle with heat far more quickly than we do. Put yourself in their paws and think about how the conditions feel from their perspective. ❤️

Stay safe, stay cool and keep those precious paws protected. 🐾
