โ ๏ธ A POLITE BUT IMPORTANT REMINDER FROM CENTRAL BARK ๐พ
We really donโt like having to write posts like this, particularly as the vast majority of our field users are absolutely brilliant and treat Central Bark with the same care and respect that we do. โค๏ธ
Unfortunately, though, recently weโve seen an unacceptable increase in a few things that simply canโt continue.
๐ฉ Dog poo being left around the field
๐ณ๏ธ Dogs digging holes which are then being left unfilled
๐ก Dogs picking up, chewing and damaging our solar lights and other equipment
Please, please pick up after your dog. There are poo bins and bags available, and leaving dog mess behind for the next person โ or for us to find โ simply isnโt acceptable.
If your dog digs a hole, please fill it back in before you leave. An unfilled hole is a genuine trip and injury risk to both people and dogs using the field after you.
And if your dog picks up or starts chewing something belonging to the field, please stop them. We completely understand that dogs will be dogs and accidents can happen! But if something is damaged, please let us know rather than leaving it for us to discover.
It takes a huge amount of time, effort and money to maintain a secure field and keep it safe, clean and enjoyable for everyone.
Our booking Terms & Conditions do state that customers are responsible for damage caused during their booking. We have never wanted to be heavy-handed about enforcing this, and we certainly donโt want to start trawling through CCTV footage to identify whose booking damage or mess occurred during.
But unfortunately, things do need to change.
All weโre asking for is basic respect for the field, for us, and most importantly for the dogs and owners coming in after you.
Pick it up. Fill it in. If you damage it, tell us. โค๏ธ
Thank you to the huge majority of our Central Bark customers who already do exactly that โ we really do appreciate you. ๐พ
