I'm usually pretty good at seeing our Google reviews and replying to them, however I seemed to have missed this one from a few weeks back. This is so disheartening when we receive bad reviews, due to the ignorance of some customers. We provide poo pickers, poo bags and poo bins to make it as easy as possible for people to pick up their dogs poo. For goodness sake, please pick up your poo!

Each bad review really affects our star rating and can be quite upsetting to us.

Thank you so much to the customers that reach out to me to say they've cleaned up after previous customers. You shouldn't need to be doing that, but we really do appreciate it.

💰When your payment goes on a little adventure… 😂

We recently received a rather disgruntled message from a customer whose payment had been left uncaptured by our system, stating he will start charging us interest should the money not be put back into his bank.

So, just to clear up a little bit of booking-system mystery:

💳 If your payment has successfully gone through, you will ALWAYS receive a confirmation email. That email is your best friend — if you haven't received it, please don't assume your booking has been completed.

An uncaptured payment isn't necessarily an error with our booking system. Occasionally, a payment can be authorised by the bank/card provider but not actually captured by the merchant. This can happen for a number of reasons during the payment process. In simple terms, your bank may temporarily say “yep, looks good!” while the actual transfer never gets completed.

And importantly, if a payment hasn't been captured, we don't actually have your money. It may appear as a pending transaction with your bank, but the money hasn't reached us. So there isn't money sitting in our account earning interest that we can hand back to you — much as we might enjoy the idea! 😄

The takeaway: No confirmation email = don't assume your payment/booking is complete. Give us a shout and we'll happily check it for you ❤️

📌 FIELD RULES — PLEASE READ
To help keep the field safe, clean and enjoyable for everyone, please follow these rules at all times:
🐾 All sessions must be booked.
This is not a free facility, and the field must not be used without a booking.

🚗 Please do not arrive too early for your booking.
If you arrive before your allocated time, please wait in the lay-by part way down the lane until your session is due to start.

💩 Pick up after your dog.
Please clean up all dog mess and dispose of it in the bins provided.

🚯 Take your litter home.
Please do not leave any rubbish behind, including cigarette butts.

🏡 Please be respectful of our neighbours.
Keep noise to a minimum and do your best to prevent excessive barking. We want to be considerate of those living nearby and avoid unnecessary complaints.
