Queen of Hooves Equine Podiatry

24/03/2026

A different kind of day for me today. Had the pleasure of having the lovely Kim, KS Equine Podiatry Student and fellow Areion Academy colleague join me at my yard for the day. It was lovely to see her again and have her expertise and skill to tackle my herd of monsters.
We spent the day looking at both little and large and talking through their various issues, both hoof and body.
Thank you for your patience with them toda Kim. It's great to see how the final year students are shaping up. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the cohort in July for their exams!

Bar some paperwork I am now finished trimming for 2025..

Jacob would like to wish all my clients and their equines a very Happy Christmas and New Year.

It has been a pleasure looking after everyone's hooves this year and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in 2026!

Sometimes we just need a gentle reminder. For anyone who needs it.

Just as you are just as you’ve always been 🤍✨

A little honesty here, I’ve been struggling a lot with my brain recently, 2025 hasnt been an easy ride for my health. My brain begins to run away with itself, tell me sneaky thoughts I shouldn’t let in. I know this is just a moment and it too shall pass, I guess sharing this incase anyone else brain has run away from them. You are and always will be enough, everything you’ve been through has shaped you into the beautiful soul you are.

And if no one’s told you yet today, you are loved more than you will ever know ###x

A very different day today compared to the one I had this time last year.

My final exams! I can't believe a whole year has flown by already!

It's been such a brilliant year, getting to know and help so many new equines and their owners.

I'm incredibly proud of the business I've built so far and I'm looking forward to seeing what the next year brings.

Something a little different last night.

Spent the evening at the Mare and Foal Sanctuary site in Totnes attending a fabulous Horses Inside Out demo on pilates and pole work.

I've got some new tricks up my sleeve now and looking forward to trying it out with my ponies.

Was a great evening!

But first, a quick trip up to see all my Isle of Wight regulars!
