Dear members of the 1% club ( you know who you are)
We are determined NOT to increase our prices because of the Trump-induced fuel crisis . However, we can only do this if people pay on time . I’m fairly laid back about bill paying as long as I can see that people are making a proper effort to clear their account .
Recently the 1% club has gained more members as people ignore our polite requests for payment. Myself and my team have better things to do with our time than chase people for money for work that has already been done . I have therefore decided that it’s time for another round of client culls . Anyone with debt outstanding for more than 60 days will soon be receiving an email. If the account is not settled within 7 days we will be closing your accounts and you will need to register with another practice

We made it to 4 years !
Thanks to my amazing team for working so hard and keeping me sane throughout that time
Special thanks to Kelly for being there from the start and having faith in Hallum Equine , definitely could not have done it without you.
A huge thanks to all of our clients too , the vast majority of which have been a pleasure to deal with .
We look forward to continuing to work with you all for the next 12 months . In the mean time , happy birthday to us and pass the cake

The Liskeard Show is tomorrow!

After months of planning, preparation, and hard work, we're ready to welcome you for a fantastic day celebrating farming, food, community, and countryside life.

The gates open at 9am and we don't close until 5pm, giving you a full day to enjoy everything the show has to offer. From livestock and equine competitions to shopping, children's entertainment, live music, delicious food and drink, and a packed Main Ring programme, there's something for everyone.

Bring the whole family, meet up with friends, support local businesses and producers, and enjoy one of Cornwall's biggest and best-loved summer events.

Some of you may have had the pleasure of meeting her on a visit already!

Carlotta is originally from the Netherlands and graduated from Bristol University in 2025.

It’s safe to say she has fitted into the team perfectly and she looks forward to meeting all of you and your ponies 🐴

As we approach our four year anniversary it’s time for some reflection .
We have grown enormously in that time both in client numbers and staff.
It has been very hard work and there have been times when I have questioned my sanity for starting this venture. On the whole though , I have enjoyed being able to create a practice that benefits its employees and clients alike.
We are always pleased to register new clients to join the familiar faces of clients that we have known for many years .
99% of our clients are superb , we enjoy working with them and their horses and do everything in our power to provide them with an excellent , affordable service .
Unfortunately, we are all human beings and therefore inherently fallible. Things can get missed or occasionally forgotten or things can go wrong for whatever reason. The 99% appreciate this and we can work with them for the best resolution. Sadly, of late , it seems that the 1% are spoiling it for everyone . There are some people that consider it acceptable to avoid paying their bills or worse than , think it’s ok to be rude or obnoxious to my team. Let me be clear- I do NOT tolerate rudeness of any kind to any of my staff under any circumstances.
Whilst I continue to reflect on the next 4 years , I have decided to have a client cull. If you fall within the 1% you have been warned - it will be time to find yourself another vet if you don’t make the effort to be part of the bigger picture
