2 runners for us today where Poppy will be leading up at Brighton and Laura will be leading up at Fontwell Park Racecourse.
First up we are off to Brighton for the 2.40pm where we run VERA LEMON for owners Gee Tac Limited and George Downing in the saddle.
VERA LEMON is a work in progress and could not be fancied today in this field, we are learning about her and she is very much a ‘watching brief’. She will come into her own at some stage.
STANSFIELD DREAM wouldn’t have to be too special in this line up at around 10/1!
Next up at Fontwell in the 4.39pm we run WESTERN SOLDIER for owner Mrs Kate Kenyan and Callum Pritchard riding.
WESTERN SOLDIER is a horse i like a lot, he’s working well and looked an absolute picture when i saw him last.
Race conditions look like they will suit and i’ve had a go each way at 12/1. He sits a little below his last winning mark so,for me, has a decent each way chance.
CAWTHORNE BANKER has a squeak at decent odds and CHIEF SUNDAY can’t be ignored with the trainer in such good form, plus he is sitting 25lbs below his best winning mark!
Best of luck to connections and most important to us all is that both horses and jockeys come home safe and sound….. Brett

1 runner for us today at Chepstow Racecourse where Daisy Warden will be leading up.
It’s the 4.35pm where we run BALBOA for owner Kate Kenyon (who had a winner yesterday here) and Callum Pritchard riding (who also rode the winner yesterday for Kate). Firstly congratulations to Callum on getting his first Graded winner and we are delighted to give him that opportunity.
BALBOA is working well at home and most definitely has an each way chance here, he promises to stay from earlier evidence and won’t mind the ground.
11/1 is very fair odds.
It’s an open race and i couldn’t pick between a lot of them but the top weight could be handy here..

WEST HILL VERDE - WINNER 🥇

KAPITEIN KOOL - 3RD 🥉

2 runners for us today over at Chepstow Racecourse where Laura and Zoe Catherine Louise will be leading up.
First up in the 3.43pm we run WEST HILL VERDE for owner Mrs Kate Kenyon and Callum Pritchard rides.
WEST HILL VERDE is a consistent type who could put up a good show today at big odds, it’s a classy race but he is a capable sort who willl appreciate today’s race conditions. He’s a bit below a few of these on ratings but if a couple underperform this could be in our favour - he’s a tough one too with a good attitude. COSMIC CONNECTION looks a worthy favourite and I like the look of LE MOULIN ROUGE at nice odds too.
Next up in the 4.55pm we run KAPITEIN KOOL for owner Mr Willem Van Der Horst and Paul O’Brien in the saddle.
KAPITEIN KOOL lost a bit of rhythm toward the end of last season but comes here with a decent enough chance with conditions that will suit. He’s another that’s worthy each way at around 9/1. When I saw him recently he looked very well.
GUCHEN is the one I like here at decent odds but to be fair it’s a very open race with some potentially half decent horses.
All we ask is that horses and jockeys return safe and sound and of course, best of luck to connections….. Brett

BASILETTE - WINNER 🥇

MIMI'S MAGIC - 5TH

2 runners go to post today for us today at Brighton where Issie Young will be leading up.

First up, in the 1.38pm, we run MIMI'S MAGIC for owners The 69 Racing Team and Ben Pollard rides.
MIMI'S MAGIC is very much one to watch today as we try and discover what she’s about. Her form to date doesn’t tell us too much and hopefully over her next few runs we can figure her out.
Next up, in the 3.23pm, we run BASILETTE for owners Gee Tac Limited and George Downing rides.
BASILETTE unfortunately got herself in a bit of a muddle last time and had to be withdrawn, it would be nice if she could get compensated today with a win!
She is in fine form at home but this looks a bit competitive for the grade. She would be placed at least in my opinion as she always gives her utmost.
She sits a little above her last winning mark and might struggle to get past a couple of these. If BUG BOY can get away in terms today then he could go in again as he’s still well handicapped on previous runs and CLIPSHAM NOBLE could have the beating of all of these with a nice weights pull over the top weight.
Anyway, best of luck to connections today, enjoy your day out on the south coast and all we ever ask for is that horses and jockeys come back safe and sound.
