Harry-beau came in for his routine booster vaccination to prevent & protect him from viral diseases and he was the BEST!

Brave and even started kneading after and wanting some love! Of course, we strive to make ever cats experience as wonderful as this, but Harry-Beau was extra comfortable with us 💚

✨ Recent CPD ✨

Enid & Kristina both attended the recent VetLed Conference. The conference was aimed at improving our communication with each other, clients & ourselves. Covering different aspects of communication, listening and overall improving outcomes for our patients 🤩

They had a great time & are looking forward to presenting what they learnt to the rest of the team 💚

Vets & Vet Nurses must complete additional hours of learning (CPD) to remain registered to practice in the UK to help ensure we are learning & keeping up to date with the ever changing information that comes into the veterinary world 📚

You know we mentioned Grass Seeds …

We have had lots & lots of dogs on recently with grass seeds stuck in various places including feet, ears, throats and eyes 🌳

Poor Ted here had one stuck in his eye! His brilliant owner made sure to get him booked in and he was so brave to let Estela, our Vet, remove it 👁️. Great catch from the owner before it got worse

Please continue to check your pets after walks or avoid grassy areas 🐾

Pet Car Travel 🚗

This is the season where we are all making day trips or going on a staycation and possibly bringing our pets too!

Here are our top tips for pet car travel:
- Always keep them secured - Cats should be in baskets. Dogs should either be secured with a dog seatbelt or in a crate. They should not be distracting to the driver 💺
- Spray some herbal or pheromone sprays before getting them in the car to help create a calming environment 🧖‍♀️
- Get the aircon going before they get in and remember the boot will always be hotter💨
- Train them for car journeys prior to create a positive memory. Food can be especially helpful 🥣

If they struggle with sickness etc and you have a long journey upcoming, contact us for an appointment to select an appropriate medication 💊

Missing Cat 🐈‍⬛

9 month old black & white kitten missing from near the Bustard. They are microchipped, but normally an indoor cat so likely to be very scared.
