🐰💚Happy International Rabbit Day! 💚🐰

Today we’re celebrating our wonderful long-eared companions and raising awareness of what rabbits need to live happy, healthy lives.

Rabbits are intelligent, social and active animals, but they can be experts at hiding signs of illness. Regular veterinary health checks are therefore an important part of keeping your rabbit well. 🩺🐇

From a balanced, fibre-rich diet and appropriate housing to companionship, enrichment, dental care and preventative healthcare, there’s lots we can do to support their wellbeing.

This International Rabbit Day, let’s give our bunny friends the care they deserve! 💚

Does your rabbit have a favourite treat, toy or mischievous habit? Tell us in the comments! 👇🐰

💙 Making veterinary visits as stress-free as possible for our feline patients!🩷🐈‍⬛

We understand that visiting the vets can be a worrying experience for cats. That’s why we take extra care to create a calm, quiet and cat-friendly environment from the moment they arrive.

🏡 The beautiful cat pictured is Jelly one of our senior patients at an amazing 17 years old, looking very relaxed in our very own dedicated Cat Consult Room, providing a quiet and comfortable space away from the hustle and bustle of the practice.

🌿 We use gentle handling techniques
‍🐈‍⬛ We allow cats time to settle and approach at their own pace
We encourage familiar blankets and bedding
💗 We keep handling to what is necessary and always prioritise their comfort
✨ We use patience, reassurance and positive experiences to help reduce anxiety

Our dedicated cat space helps us provide a more relaxed experience for our feline friends, because we know that a calmer cat makes for a happier veterinary visit. 🐾💕

Meet Miffy she is a beautiful Scottish Fold 💕 Today she had a professional dental scale and polish to remove plaque and tartar and help keep her teeth and gums healthy.

✨ See her before & after photos! ✨

🐾 Remove plaque and tartar
🦷 Support healthy gums and teeth
🌿 Improve bad breath
❤️ Reduce the risk of painful dental disease

Regular dental care is an important part of keeping our pets happy, healthy and comfortable. 🐱💗 Ask us about your pet’s dental health and whether a scale and polish could benefit them.

Troy was very brave today ⭐️for his nurse consult with Sophia (RVN).

Troy has his monthly Librela injection which is designed to control arthritic pain helping him move more comfortably, stay active, and enjoy walks.

Benefits may include:
* Monthly dosing no daily arthritis pain pill routine
* Long-lasting pain control for up to one month after an injection
* Potentially improved comfort and mobility
* A treatment plan tailored and monitored by your veterinarian

Librela controls pain associated with canine osteoarthritis, but it does not cure or reverse arthritis. Improvement may take two monthly injections, and every dog responds differently.

If you feel your dog could benefit from Librela please contact the practice for further information on 01722 337 117.
