Some hunts have already started cub hunting, and sab groups have responded by stopping them and gathering evidence of their illegal activity.

Cub hunting usually takes place very early in the morning or early evening when it is cooler, making it easier for the hounds to pick up on the scent of foxes. Riders will be less in numbers than on a normal hunt day as only the most depraved and trusted will be present. As hounds enter an area where foxes are known to be, riders will surround it, preparing themselves to make as much noise as possible to turn any fleeing foxes back towards hounds.

Over 60 affiliated groups all over the country are preparing to stop this sickening illegal activity and you can help ๐Ÿ‘‡

If you have any information about a hunt in your area or witness a hunt taking place, please tip off your local hunt saboteur group, details of which can be found at https://www.huntsabs.org.uk/local-groups/ along with the HSA tip off line.

All information will be dealt with in the strictest confidence and any detail may help to save lives.

Quantock Stag Hounds โ€œCureโ€ Bluetongue โ€“ Or Just Prove Once Again They Donโ€™t Give a Damn

We were absolutely delighted to receive a tip-off this week that the Quantock Stag Hounds have single-handedly eradicated bluetongue from West Somerset. What a public service. What a miracle. Farmers across Exmoor and the surrounding countryside must be weeping with gratitude.

Because only a couple of weeks ago these same people were full of solemn concern. They suspended stag hunting. They spoke of the plight of farmers. They nodded gravely at the suffering of livestock keepers whose flocks and herds are being hammered by a disease that is tearing through the South West. Bluetongue is no abstract problem. It is here, it is spreading fast, it is killing animals, wrecking livelihoods, and putting enormous pressure on already stretched farming communities in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. Deer can carry it too. The responsible thing โ€“ the human thing โ€“ would have been to stay away.

Then yesterday happened.

While farmers are still counting losses and watching stock sicken, the Quantock Stag Hounds were out in the Fitzhead area enjoying a lovely little autumn stag hunt. Horses, hounds, the usual convoy of vehicles, the full performance. Business as usual. The โ€œsuspensionโ€ lasted just long enough to look thoughtful before the bloodlust kicked back in.
So we are left with two possibilities.
Either the Quantock Stag Hounds have been quietly performing biblical-level miracles and have wiped bluetongue from the West Somerset countryside with the power of their own virtueโ€ฆ or they never meant a word of it.
The second option has the distinct advantage of being consistent with everything we already know about them.

These people have spent years treating the Hunting Act like a menu of loopholes. Research and observation one day, flushing to guns the next, casualty rescue when it suits, trail hunting when the cameras are watching. They have been prosecuted before.
They have been caught using more dogs than the law allows. They have been filmed chasing exhausted animals to the point of collapse. And every time the public pressure mounts they produce a carefully worded statement about tradition, countryside management, or โ€“ when the mood requires โ€“ concern for farmers.

This latest episode strips away the last shred of pretence. The moment the urge to chase and kill became stronger than the desire to look like they cared, they were back out. Farmers can bury their animals. The Quantock Stag Hounds have a season to get on with.

They are not misunderstood countryside folk temporarily inconvenienced by disease. They are a group so addicted to the spectacle of a terrified stag being run into the ground that even a genuine agricultural crisis is just an inconvenient pause.
The suspension was never about solidarity. It was optics. And optics, it turns out, have a very short shelf life when there is a stag somewhere that hasnโ€™t been exhausted yet.

So congratulations to the Quantock Stag Hounds. In the middle of a disease outbreak that is hurting real working people, you have managed to demonstrate, with perfect clarity, exactly what you are. Liars. Cheats and cowards. Opportunists, shamelessly trying to role play as normal folk who have compassion and empathy. And, above all, people who will always put the kill first.

The farmers of the West Country will no doubt be thrilled to know their suffering ranked so highly on your list of priorities.

Violence, misogyny and sexism have always been prominent within the hunting community, with overwhelming cases against female hunt saboteurs. We recently shared a series of social media posts highlighting this - but the sad fact is that there are still hundreds more instances that could have been shared.

Our latest article explores the shocking extent of violence towards female saboteurs, the misogynistic language used by hunters and how exposing young people and children to this sets a precedent.

'Trail' hunting does not exist, but what does is the sickening violence within this community. Whether it is towards animals; wildlife, hounds and horses, or towards other people.

A recent report in The Times exposed hunt leaders' intentions to hoodwink the government. BHSA Chairman Viscount Astor is at the forefront of this plot with leaked minutes exposing his intention to persuade ministers to accept a voluntary switch to drag hunting on a trial basis - knowing that by the time the government are forced to legislate, it will be close to the next election, where he assumes a fox hunt supporting Prime Minister to make it to Number 10.

What do you expect from an organisation that was once exposed by the HSA for holding a webinar whereby they shared hints and tips as to how to break the law and continue to hunt wildlife. At the time the organisation was called the Hunting Office, but after this expose there was a name change to the British Hounds Sports Association. Different name, same intentions; to hunt illegally.

Any new ban must be watertight leaving no room for exploitation from hunts.

This week North Dorset Hunt Saboteurs have reported that the Blackmore & Sparkford Vale Hunt have secured their 18th conviction in 3 years. Fred Ford was found guilty of assault by beating following an incident during cubbing last season. Ford pinned a female sab to a gate as she was trying to access a public footpath. Even when the sab was on the phone to the police the assault continued, showing the sheer arrogance of Ford.

It seems that criminality runs in the family for the Ford's as Fred's son is none other than Charlie Ford, the huntsman for the Dorset & Somerset Bassetts, who was found guilty of hare hunting earlier this month.

The fact that the BSV now has 18 convictions in three years is absurd. This just further proves why a full ban on 'trail' hunting is needed. As well as only existing as a smokescreen for illegal hunting, it harbours violent criminals who think they can assault members of the public to try and hide their illegal activity.

Why are we not surprised! Keeping wildlife crime in the family. ๐Ÿคฌ

The HSA has today, exposed the family link between the Stowe Beagles & Coniston Foxhounds, the fell pack at the centre of the countryโ€™s largest-ever investigation into illegal foxhunting.

Recently convicted kennel huntsman, Philip Kennedy of the Stowe Beagles is the son of Steve Kennedy, the longtime secretary of the Coniston Foxhounds. It seems that animal cruelty and violence runs in the Kennedy's blood(sports).

This revelation explains why the Stowe Beagles have made so many trips to Coniston country and raises further troubling questions about safeguarding failures that may have allowed Stowe students to be inducted into a world of cruelty and criminality.

David Cameron's Father In Law.....
Viscount Aster shows his trickery to try and fool the Police and anyone who loves our British Wildlife.
More subterfuge, more lies from Viscount Aster to fool the public that these people who hunt are a just group of gentle souls who only want to enjoy the countryside!
If anyone thinks Drag hunting is the solution to Stop the killing of wildlife in "Trail Hunting" then the toxic Truth is starting to seep out of the cracks.

As reported in The Times, hunt leaders - including British Hound Sports Association (BHSA) Chair Viscount Astor, father-in-law of former PM David Cameron - are plotting to hoodwink the government into making small changes to the types of scent used by so-called โ€˜trailโ€™ hunts, enabling ministers to โ€˜claim victoryโ€™ without introducing the comprehensive legislation that would ensure an end to hunting wildlife with dogs.
