Thank you to an amazing community of animal lovers who offered help
Our emergency evacuation plan is always kept update but you hope never to use it
This is why 24 hour on site care is so important immediate reaction to the first sign of smoke
To all owners who collected early thank to the amazing emergency contacts who dropped everything and took dogs thank you
This is why that emergency contact on your booking form is so important
Thankfully it passed us without damage directly to us
So the kennels now are running normally with dogs back in them all dogs are safe and thankfully none the wiser of the drama that was happening
The wildfire is heading away from us and we cannot thank the fire service enough or the local farmers for all they have done and continue to do

It's rare for me to recommend but this is the exception many of you will have met Dakota my right hand woman at the kennels and the only person I trust to look after my dogs
Well she's venturing out on her own so if you need a dog walker or kennels aren't the right fit for your dog she also offer's pet sitting in your house
She's the lady to go to
100% recommended by all the westwinds crew
Good luck Dakota Mason
Please like and share her page a support her in her new venture ❤️
