📢 St Helens Council has updated its website with a list of all currently licensed dog and cat boarding premises in the St Helens area.
Before leaving your beloved pet with anyone offering home boarding or cat boarding:
✅ Check they are licensed
✅ Ask to see their boarding licence
✅ Check the licence is displayed on their website (where applicable)
✅ Look for the licence displayed at their premises – this is a legal requirement for licensed businesses.
💔 Sadly, there are increasing reports of dogs going missing, being injured or receiving poor care while staying with unlicensed boarders.
🐾 Licensed boarders work hard to meet strict welfare standards, giving your pet the safest possible environment and giving you complete peace of mind.
⏰ It only takes a couple of minutes to check, but it could protect your pet and prevent heartache.
