MAX ❤️‍🩹

Oh Max, I absolutely was not ready for this one, as dog walkers we see all our dogs age over the years but somehow, even when we know there isn't the world infront of them left, it still just breaks our hearts.

I received a phone call on Monday evening off Max's owner to tell me , sadly Max had crossed the rainbow bridge after a very sudden decline in his health 😔

Max was a boss, the most laid back boy, loved a plod along and loved his treats equally, always ready for a little adventure.

I've seen Max for 3 - 4 days a week for the last 5 years nearly 6. Beleive me when I tell you, I sobbed buckets for this boy. I'm very lucky to still have his brother to walk and still see his owner 🫶🏻

I'll be at those gates one day Max with my pocket full of treats ready for our next adventure.

Sleep tight Max ❤️

I'm sure you'll all send your love to Max's owners who are coming to terms with their loss. 🫂

Wow!! Due the extreme heat this week, walks will not go ahead, house calls are in replace as always. Please let me know if you require a house call this week.

Thursday I may just pass away 🥵

Please keep your pets as cool as you can, fans, cool mats, cold towels, frozen treats. 34 degrees is extremely dangerous for pets, even just them being in the garden for too long.

Let's put a little bowl of water out for our wildlife too 🦋🐌🐜🐦

Guys, I say it every year. Please be sensible. It's just not worth your dog suffering.

It was too hot at 9am this morning.

Older dogs
Brachycephalic
Pups/young dogs

Are all at higher risk of heat stroke 🥵

Any dog walker continuing to work as normal in this heat should be ashamed of themselves 🤬 any reputable dog walker will cancel all walks and offer a pop in service.

Welfare over profit every single time!!

Let's keep our dogs safe and healthy in heatwaves. I promise you they will be absolutely fine without a walk.
