🌟 It’s Volunteers' Week! 🌟

This week, we are celebrating the incredible people who give their time, energy, and love to help animals in need here at RSPCA Cornwall Branch. 💙

From walking dogs and cuddling cats to fundraising, fostering, and so much more, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. We simply could not do it without them.

Bailey is a young boy bursting with personality who is currently enjoying life in a wonderful foster home whilst he waits for his forever family. His fosterers say he has been an absolute joy to have around! 🏡✨

🐶 Loves people and lots of affection
🛋️ Big fan of sofa snuggles and home comforts
🎾 Enjoys tennis balls, rope toys, and garden zoomies
🦴 Clever, food-motivated, and loves learning
🌟 Making fantastic progress with his training
😎 A total pro at wearing his muzzle on walks
🏡 Can be left for short periods and is clean in the house
🐾 Would prefer to be the only pet so he can enjoy all the attention
👧 May be able to live with older, dog-savvy children

Join us at Trevena Cross Garden Centre to learn more about fostering and how you can help change an animal’s life. Fostering provides a safe, loving space for animals while they wait for their forever homes.

There are lots of different types of fostering, and our friendly team will be there to answer your questions and help you find what could work for you.

Moments That Made Us Smile This Week 🐾

As a rehabilitation and rehoming centre, our days can sometimes be tough. Many of the animals that come to us have had difficult starts in life, so there can be hard moments along the way. But there are also so many wonderful, heartwarming moments that remind us why we do what we do 💙

Here are a few moments from this week that made us smile:

1. Brandon & Rosie enjoying their Doggy Day Out 💙
These two had the best time getting out and about together, enjoying new sights, sniffs, and plenty of fresh air away from kennel life.

2. Ralphy and his big cheesy grin 💙
Ralphy had everyone smiling this week with his adorable happy face and trademark goofy grin that could brighten anyone’s day!

3. Nala has activated her chill mode 💙
Nala was fully embracing relaxation this week, all cosy, comfy, and enjoying some well-deserved downtime in her favourite spot.

4. Simba splashing around in the pool 💙
Simba had an amazing time cooling off in the paddling pool, showing off his playful side and loving every second of the water fun!

5. Alex being his cheeky self 💙
Alex kept everyone entertained this week with his cheeky personality, always making sure he was the centre of attention and getting plenty of fuss.

These moments may seem small, but for the animals in our care they mean the world. Every little step forward helps them on their journey towards finding their forever homes 💙

Looking for a fun and meaningful summer activity for animal lovers ☀️🐾

Our Summer Club for ages 8–11 are running throughout the school holidays, Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm!

Children will enjoy:
🐾 Animal-themed activities
🌼 Exploring and learning in our wildlife garden
🎨 Crafts, games & hands-on fun

A perfect mix of outdoor adventure, creativity, and animal fun! Spaces are limited, so book early to avoid missing out.

📍 Ages 8–11
🕘 Monday–Friday | 9am–3pm

💔 Could You Be The Reason Ralphy Finally Gets His Happy Ending? 🐾

Ralphy is a lovable boy bursting with personality, charm, and just the right amount of cheekiness 💙 He’s the kind of dog who wants to say hello to everyone he meets and will happily stop for fuss, cuddles, and a little chat along the way!

While Ralphy may be getting older, don’t let that fool you… this boy still gets excited for adventures and absolutely LOVES a tennis ball 🎾 His age certainly doesn’t stop him from enjoying life and making people smile.

A little more about Ralphy:
🐶 Friendly, affectionate, and loves being around people
🎾 Big fan of tennis balls and playful moments
🦴 Knows how to sit… especially if snacks are involved!

Ralphy can be a little wobbly on his back legs at times, but he takes it all in his stride and still has so much love, companionship, and happiness to give. After all he’s been through, this wonderful boy deserves a family who will adore him for exactly who he is 💕

💔 URGENT FOSTER HOMES NEEDED FOR OUR LONGEST STAYERS 💔

Ned and Mollie have been waiting far too long for someone to choose them. Kennel life is becoming incredibly difficult, and we would love to find them temporary foster homes where they can finally relax and enjoy a break from kennel life, even if it’s just for a week or two. 🐾

A foster home would give them the chance to decompress, enjoy home comforts, and remind them what it feels like to be part of a family again. It would also help our team learn more about them in a home environment and hopefully help them to find their forever homes faster. 💙

Please note: Ned and Mollie are looking for separate foster homes. They are both big dogs with even bigger hearts, looking for understanding foster families who are comfortable around larger breeds and happy to continue their training and enrichment.

🐶 Ned – 5 Year Old Lurcher Cross
• Big goofy boy with lots of love to give 💙
• Loves toys, games, and human company
• Walks nicely on lead
• Looking to be the only pet in the home
• Not suitable to live with cats
• Could live with older children/teenagers
Ned is a energetic, funny, affectionate lad who just wants somewhere cosy to feel safe and loved.

🐶 Mollie – 5 Year Old Presa Canario
• Bright, clever, and full of personality 💙
• Loves tennis balls and enrichment games
• Knows lots of basic commands
• Looking to be the only pet in the home
• Not suitable to live with cats
• Could live with dog-savvy teenagers
Mollie has so much love and loyalty to give and deserves the chance to enjoy life outside of kennels.
