🌟 Success Story: Theo’s Big Comeback! 🌟

Meet Theo, our brilliant (and somewhat accident‑prone!) 16‑year‑old who gave everyone quite the scare just before Christmas. He was found with the very end of a fence post lodged in his left hind heel bulb — definitely not the kind of “field adventure” any of us want to see!

Our emergency vet Evie headed straight out to him, taking X‑rays in the field to check for any damage or involvement of those all‑important synovial structures. With an injury this close to joints and tendon sheaths, infections can be really serious, so we knew Theo needed intensive care.

Theo then spent five days in our St Columb hospital, where he enjoyed (well… tolerated!) a regime of antibiotics, pain relief and careful wound management from the team.

And the best bit? 🎉
Theo has made a fantastic recovery and is now back out competing, living life to the full, and being his usual cheeky self. We’re absolutely thrilled with his progress!
Huge well done to Theo for being the bravest boy, and to his wonderful owner, Lucy, for the brilliant aftercare at home. 💙🐴

📢 Important Update – Area Day Changes from 1st March

Dear Clients,

Due to ongoing scheduling and demand changes, we will be amending our equine area days starting 1st March.

These adjustments will help us continue to provide efficient visits, maintain high standards of care, and minimise travel time so we can support as many horses and clients as possible.

✅ Existing bookings will be honoured wherever possible, and our team will contact you directly if your appointment is affected.
✅ Updated area day information will be available via reception and on request.
