We recently had Lula come to stay for her first time & we quickly realised how much of a sassy girl she is. ๐Ÿคฃ

She spent the entirety of her stay with us playing endlessly and getting as much fuss and attention as possible. ๐Ÿฅฐ

He was a little unsettled at first, which is totally normal for any first timer, but it didnโ€™t take him long to let his guard down and fully enjoy a day of fun with us ๐Ÿค

A first & probably last ever visit to us!

Sadly Brunoโ€™s owners were just visiting Cornwall & it was there last day before heading home. They were visiting Eden Project, so they asked us to look after him for the day.

What a big bundle of joy he was to look after though The definition of a sun dog, any little reflection of sun was a sleeping spot. He loved being in the garden and his sunshine filled lunchtime walk too.

๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž we get to see him again sometime in the future.

A look into Kaiโ€™s first overnight stay with us! ๐Ÿก๐Ÿพ

Weโ€™ve looked after Kai several times now for daycare, but this was his first time staying overnight.

Like a lot of our visitors, Kai is super attached to his owners. He goes everywhere with them and is used to company all day. His owners (understandably) were worried about how heโ€™d settle, but regular updates with photos and videos put their minds at ease and gave them peace of mind that he was having fun and on a mini holibob himself! ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿคณ

4 Signs Your Dog is Happy โฌ‡๏ธ

1. They show you their belly ๐Ÿพ

2. The zoomies make an appearance ๐Ÿ’จ

3. They sleep deeply & for hours (up to 16 a day!) ๐Ÿ˜ด

4. Soft, relaxed eyes with lots of blinkingโ€ฆ unless theyโ€™re waiting for you to throw that toy (like in some of these clips) ๐Ÿคฃ

We canโ€™t promise your dog will feel instantly settled in the first 30 minutes, a new environment and being left can be a lot to take in.

What we can promise is time, attention, and a genuine home-from-home kind of love โค๏ธ

It never takes long for them to settle, and by their second stay, theyโ€™re usually racing back through the door like they own the place ๐Ÿคฃ

Also, slightly annoying but Iโ€™ve lost loads of unused clips, so you might see a few that had already been used! Thankfully, Iโ€™ll never run out of Wilbur content ๐Ÿพ

Guess whoโ€™s back ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿพ

Nash joined us again for daycare, his first visit since our move!

New environment, same happy boy. He settled in straight away, just excited to see us and play all day. We even got lucky with some sunshine โ˜€๏ธ so a nice long walk and lots of garden time making the most of all the extra space! ๐Ÿก

Lifeโ€™s been a little non-stop lately with work, renovating, dog sitting & everything in betweenโ€ฆ so posting took a back seat for a bit ๐Ÿพ

We recently had the pleasure of looking after Frankie again! ๐Ÿ’›

It had been a while since her last stay and her first time visiting us in our new home. She absolutely loved the extra space and was off playing from the moment she was dropped off ๐Ÿถ

Sheโ€™s just as fun as we rememberโ€ฆ maybe a tiny bit less crazy ๐Ÿ˜„ but an absolute bundle of joy to have around. And we canโ€™t get over how much sheโ€™s changed since her last visit!!
