This lovely boy is called Jacko. Jacko is around 4 years old and currently in Plymouth. Jacko came over to the UK from Romania nearly a year ago. He has come so far since being here, in a loving home. His owners are distraught at having to give him up, he has bonded to his male owner but will not accept the female in the house.

Jacko is looking for a quiet home preferably with a single older male that is home a lot of the time and will continue to give him the walks he loves.

He knows his name, has a great recall and walks well on and off a lead. He is very good with other dogs, he is nervous of people outside and doesn't like a full, busy house. He isn't sure about play time with his owners, he prefers to be left alone at home or comes to you on his terms for tummy tickles and bum scratches. He travels well in a car and is house trained. Jacko is also neutered.

We think it was a woman that has caused damage to Jacko in his past and that is why he can not overcome his issues in the home he is currently in. We are all very sad for Jacko and his owners. Please can we share, there must be somewhere and someone special that can help Jacko.

We have another Christmas plea!

Odin has been in foster for far too long now. We really can't understand why he hasn't had much interest and no applications. He is a big goofy lovable puppy! He's the big friendly giant ๐Ÿฅฐ
DOB August 2020
Fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and comes with passport.
Very large cross breed boy
No children under 12
Full RBU

His foster Mum believes he would benefit from having a confident resident dog.

Unfortunately Odin hasn't had a very stable upbringing so he lacks basic training. He needs time and patience to bring him through this. Once he bonds with someone its for life, he's very loving and loyal and deserves the best Christmas present anyone could ever give him, a loving forever home with a big sofa to call his own

DESPERATE APPEAL

Ok we are asking for the impossible it seems...
Prince is absolutely desperate for a forever sofa to curl up on in time for Christmas. Can you be that special home?

Breed experience would be beneficial (he's mostly collie)
Not cat tested
Older dog savvy children would be ok
Needs another dog/s to live with, preferably a confident bouncy castrated male
He's about 3 years old

He is neutered, vaccinated and passported and has full RBU.

Would like him to stay within 1 hour of his current foster home in Worcestershire.

Still longing for his forever sofa ๐Ÿ˜”

Prince has been in foster nearly 6 months and we've not had one enquiry for him. We don't get it :( he's about 3, neutered, passported, microchipped. He does need a resident dog for his confidence. He's not been cat tested but could live with older dog savvy children.

He's a collie cross, around 20-25kg.

๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐ŸถYAPPY EVER AFTER POST๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿถ
Who remembers Foxy (Crumble)? Foxy was rescued from Romania and had a really tough start to life. Look at her now!! - First picture is her in Romania. This is what her Mummy and Daddy has to say about her:
We had the privilege to adopt Foxy (Crumble) aka the little Fox Cub ๐ŸฆŠ.

Foxy joined our family at the beginning of July. On her first night she cuddled up with us on the sofa and settled into her new forever home very quickly.

She is extremely loving. She adores cuddles on the bed and the sofa. She is very good with other dogs, and now attends doggy day care each week. She is also a little character and regularly has us in stitches with her mannerisms and the way she loves to watch tv!
She is extremely easy to train, and is extremely intelligent. We are due to start dog training in November and hopefully agility training shortly after.

We are honoured to be given the opportunity to give her the best life, and honestly she has also changed ours for the better. We regularly get people tell us how beautiful she is, and we feel like we won the lottery with her ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ•๐ŸฆŠ

HAPPY EVER AFTER POST!!!

We had to share this, Teddy (Previously called Bronze) the fluffy boy was so scared when he arrived in the UK. Teddy was in kennels and when his wonderful adopter went to collect Teddy, he panicked and escaped. Luckily he was retrieved quickly and taken back to kennels. Here his adopter didn't give up on Teddy, he went to visit Teddy every week to build a bond and some trust and now look at this lovely lad and how happy he is. Stephen then went on to 'foster' Dexter the other gorgeous boy but then decided he couldn't part with him and therefore offered him the very best home as well.

What a wonderful outcome for these boys, they are so happy and literally living their very best life. Thank you Stephen Keighley for all you have done for these boys and sending us your fabulous video and allowing us to share it here.

Found his forever home ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฅฐ
We cannot believe Hunter is still looking for a forever home. He is some sort of shepherd mix but he is a medium size dog (approx 19kg). He has come on so far in his foster home and happily comes up for fuss and cuddles now. He's very gentle but would struggle with a really noisy household. Household noises don't bother him but lots of shouting and playing would so he needs a home either without children or older dog savvy children.

He's really playful but in a very gentle way and would benefit from a calm confident resident dog. He's already in the UK but has come from Romania. Home check and adoption fee apply.

He's not cat tested.
He is neutered, passported and vaccinated.

He is approximately 5 years old.

***PUPDATE***

Snowy is heading to his new foster home on Sunday. He will be with another little dog and if they hit it off the lady will adopt this beautiful boy. Thank you for sharing and showing an interest. We still have se other lovely dogs needing to find their forever homes.

Snowy is a beautiful 9 month old boy who came into the UK from a wonderful rescuer in Macedonia. Snowy has been in a home since arriving but he is lead reactive towards other dogs. He also suffers separation anxiety when left at home. These are things that can be corrected very early on and with the right tools and advice. He needs someone who has experience in rescue dogs, he is in a home with very young children and is very much loved but he does need to find a new home with someone who has time to put into his lead reactivity.

We are looking for a foster home for Snowy with people that have time and space for this lovely big boy. He is around 35kg and we think he is a Samoyed cross.

Snowy is not neutered.
Snowy is chipped.
Snowy is vaccinated.
Snowy has a passport.

For more information on this lovely boy please send us a message.
He is currently in Ivybridge, Devon.

Friends of Rescue dogs are looking for fosters.

Please read the below from one of our experienced fosters and if you feel you can help do get in touch.

***Do you have compassion, patience and understanding for animals, can you give them time to heal their bruised souls and learn to trust again. Many of these animals have never felt any kindness or love and many people want to take dogs that are ready for life, happy to walk on leads, happy to meet and greet new people and other dogs.

Many of these dogs are not ready for that they need a quiet home where they will be fed and have a bed to rest but have space, peace, and patience and can come around in their own time.
To foster is a very rewarding experience. Many foster parents find that in doing this they gain a huge amount of satisfaction and pride in turning the lives of these scared animas around. It is not always easy, it can take weeks or sometimes months to see even the smallest change or before you can first touch but that small change or touch can open doors to a new life and gives these dogs a fresh hope that life can be good again.

If you think this is something you could do please do open your hearts and your homes to a dog that needs time and space to grow in their confidence. ***

Message our page for more information on fostering.
Thank you.
