🐕 Let's talk training tools!

Slip leads, e-collars, prong collars and harnesses — there are plenty of options when it comes to dog training, but which one is right for your dog?

Every dog is different, and understanding the purpose of each tool is an important part of making the right choice. When selected appropriately and used properly, training equipment can support communication and help you work towards your training goals.

It's about understanding your dog, finding the right approach and making informed choices along the way. 🐾

At Canine Karma, we believe education is key to becoming a more confident and responsible dog owner.

📣 We’re excited to introduce two new services at Canine Karma!

✂️ Canine Karma Grooming with Becca

Alongside our existing grooming service at daycare, we’re now offering an additional grooming service at our boarding facility with Becca.

So, if your dog is staying with us for boarding, you can now add a grooming session to their stay — perfect for sending them home feeling fresh and looking their best.

🌿 Canine Karma Nutrition with Georgia

We’re also introducing Canine Karma Nutrition with Georgia, providing personalised nutrition support tailored to your dog’s individual needs.

Whether you’re looking for guidance on your dog’s current diet, exploring different feeding options or simply want to make sure you’re giving them the right nutrition, Georgia can help.

📲 Grooming enquiries: Becca — 07826 423796
📲 Nutrition enquiries: Georgia — 07578 287777

🏆 WE’RE PIF AWARDS 2026 FINALISTS! 🏆

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Canine Karma has been named a finalist in TWO categories at the Pet Industry Federation Awards 2026:

🐾 Kennel of the Year
🐾 Pet Service Business of the Year

This one feels extra special. In 2025, we were crowned Kennel of the Year, and to be recognised again the following year — while also being shortlisted for Pet Service Business of the Year — means so much to us.

It’s a huge reflection of the work our team puts in every single day and the trust our amazing clients place in us with their dogs. 💙

A massive thank you to our team, our clients and, of course, every dog that walks through our doors.

Now we wait for the PIF Awards 2026… 🤞🏆

"It might look like we're just walking dogs... but there's far more going on." 🐾

When we're out with a large group, we're not aiming to tire dogs out by covering miles.

Instead, we move as one.

We call it 'fishing' – flowing together like a shoal of fish. The dogs stay connected, engaged and focused on the group, creating a calm follower state.

For us, fulfilment isn't just physical exercise.
It's about giving every dog mental, physical and emotional fulfilment.

Next time you're out with your dog, ask yourself:
What am I actually providing them today?

👇 We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
