Lots of repetitive ball throwing can cause dogs to injure themselves easily ! 🤕
Using a ball or a toy for a search game gives them a brain and body workout without so much pressure on their body 💪
Start nice and close initially to make the game easy 👌

Here are some dog training ideas that you can easily do at home without much space 🏡
Obviously dogs need to run and have fun but these are good to add more stimulation and keep them busy if for various reasons you are home bound 😉

A good session with this lovely Australian Labradoodle today 😊

We are working together to help with some of his challenges out of the house but today we mainly worked on giving him an alternate to jumping when he hlgets over excited. 😀

He is a smart lad who loves food which certainly helps with the training 😀

Lovely catch up with this sweetie today.
This girl is a rescue who had a rough start to life 😪

She is now living her best life although struggles with being left alone.

When I first met her and her family she would p**p immediately on exit of her people.

Now ... she can do 3 and a half minutes which seems small but for her its huge and has taken dedication 💪

Of course there is still a way to go but they are doing a fabulous job 👏👏👏

Really proud of this girl and her family 🫶

When I first met her she struggled to walk into the training class as she was so worried being out.

Training class this week she strolled in, was relaxed and wanted to meet the other dogs 🐕

There are things that still worry her and there is still a way to go but her confidence is growing all the time and it is lovely to see 🥰

We had a super start to the Summer Puppy Classes this week with a great mix of different breeds 😀

Everyone had fun and started their learning journey 🎓

Next dates are available to book now along with Mixed Ability and Rally Obedience 👏

Taking your dog and especially puppies to new environments to experience different sights, sounds and terrains can all help to build their confidence.
In addition see if you can find things for them to climb on / over / under
( safely ! ) .
Never force them just encourage and reward bravery.
