🌈🐾 Another little angel has crossed the rainbow bridge. 🐾🌈
I received some heartbreaking news today about one of my lovely clients, who has been with me since I first started my cat-sitting journey. Sadly, beautiful Zimba crossed the rainbow bridge over the weekend 😔💔 She passed peacefully in her own home, surrounded by all her family, which is such a beautiful and comforting thought. 🩷
So Honey, Poppy and now our lovely Zimbs. 😣💔 The only little bit of comfort in all this heartbreak is imagining them all together again, somewhere over the rainbow bridge, keeping each other company. 🐾🌈🥺 One of the hardest parts of this job is the heartbreak that comes with it. As much as I love what I do, building such special bonds with your cats means that saying goodbye is never easy. Of course, nothing compares to the heartbreak their families go through, but I honestly never expected to form such deep connections and friendships through this little business of mine. In the last three years, I think I’ve made more friendships with cats than I have with humans! 🥹🐱❤️
Rest peacefully, beautiful Zimba. 🌈 Thank you for all our little chats, for keeping me company while you enjoyed your sunbathing sessions in the garden on those lovely spring and summer days, and for being one of the special little souls who has made this job so meaningful to me. I’ll miss you more than you know, lovely girl. ☀️🐾💗
And a special thank you to Zimba’s family for being so welcoming and for trusting me with all three of your beautiful girls over the years. It has been such a privilege to care for them and to become a little part of your lives. My heart and thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. Sending you so much love. 🩷🐾
