Meet Leah (Lilo)🤍

She is our newest forever foster for Cheshire Guinea Pig Rescue 🐹

Leah (also known as Lilo by us) is on the right of this photo - as you can see she is settling into the herd well!

She unfortunately has had some neurological issues, and even though she lives life most of the time like a normal pig, she was struggling being in such a big herd at the rescue so I was asked if she could join my smaller herd.

The other pigs in the herd have been extra gentle with her which is so lovely to see🥰

Meet Vladimir🖤

Our newest forever foster with Cheshire Guinea Pig Rescue.

This old man came into rescue and is already 5/6 - he has also spent most of his life alone. So the rescue thought it would be best to keep him as a foster.

Obviously I specialise in grumpy old men and love having my forever foster boys so I offered a space for this lovely lad.

He’s growing in confidence every day - from not coming out to now waiting for his breakfast and tea.

Meet Bruni and Flik✨

Meet these two gorgeous girls who joined the family a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately their family were moving house and were unable to take them with them.

They’re very beautiful girls who have now been introduced to our herd successfully so now have many sisters and a brother to keep them company.

They’re both a bit shy around people - but have started coming out of their shell on the daily. I love seeing them interact with all the other piggies in the herd🥰

Unfortunately this month we’ve had to say goodbye to two beautiful piggies💔

Unfortunately we lost Casper a couple of weeks ago. Casper was one of our forever fosters for Cheshire Guinea Pig Rescue and was best friends to Odie. I’m so grateful to have been able to offer him a home to live out his days at. Miss you Baloo Bear💙

We also had to make the tough decision to PTS Sq**rt. Sq**rt was a rescue from CGPR, a cute and sassy but blind piggy. Unfortunately in the past few days she deteriorated quickly and we made the decision to stop her suffering. I will miss seeing her little face in the herd every day💗

Loosing a pet never gets easier - but I have to remind myself of all the good memories they gave me and I got to know them and their love, and I wouldn’t change that for the world x
