Update on Oscar:

For all those wanting an update - Oscar underwent his TPLO surgery today. The surgery went smoothly and he is now home. He’s very sore and has a long recovery ahead of him but will get there with time. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to every single person who donated or shared our fundraiser. His overall treatment came to £7000 and with unfortunately only £1000 left to use on his insurance we were hit with a big bill. Every single penny helped towards his surgery so thank you ❤️

Oscar is a 9 year old border collie. He recently suffered a CCL rupture. He requires Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy. This is a surgery that involves a metal plate to stabilise the leg. Unfortunately, Oscar had to use his his insurance back in August last year. His insurance only had enough to cover his X-rays and blood test. Oscar has lived an active life involving hiking, agility, obedience and most recently scent training. There would be no greater gift than to see Oscar enjoy a paddle in the sea again.
