Please meet Merry Minnie! Minnie is a gorgeous little crossbreed, we believe she is a pug x pekingnese, she is approx. 2 years old and weighs just 6.8kg. Despite her very small size, she is a little pocket rocket and just loves life, she will happily take to anything and takes everything in her stride, in a word, she is amazing and whoever adopts her will be very lucky indeed!
Minnie was yet another stray left unclaimed in the pound. When she first arrived it was clear she had never lived with dogs before, she was horrified with them and was quite a bully, but now has settled and is well and truly part of the gang! She loves chasing around with the other dogs and just generally loves life! Her smile brightens up any day, just look at it!
Minnie is full of energy and enthusiasm and will make you laugh all the time with her antics! She loves chasing the dogs around the farm, is great on lead and brilliant off lead in a secure field, she has no idea she is small and she keeps up with all the big guys! Minnie is a beautiful little lady and will make a very rewarding addition to her new family. She has settled well into our routine and loves pack life, once she likes you, she follows you everywhere and just loves to be cuddled.
Minnie loves to greet you with a little Roo and tap dance, and honestly she is an adorable little girl, but she can be naughty and bullies any dog unlucky enough to be her size or smaller, although she does appear to have grown out of this behaviour now, she was a little madam when she first came hence why she has been with us so long and not put up for adoption sooner.
She is extremely loving and loyal and bonds very quickly to her people. She is also in to everything given the chance! Minnie is neutered, microchipped, de flead, wormed and vaccinated.
Minnie is house trained, being a small dog, if its cold and wet she will use pads! She walks well on the lead, is not destructive and can be left for short periods, She loves to be left snoozing on my bed and is often snuggled up with the cat!
Minnie is an inquisitive and responsive little lady, quick to learn and easy to train (but can be stubborn!), She loves her home comforts and a cuddle, and likes to sleep on the bed with you if she is allowed, she will sleep downstairs on the sofa or in her own bed if she isn't allowed in the bedroom. She is very food motivated which makes her easy to train!
Minnie travels very well in the car, she is just an all round pleasure to have. Whoever adopts this little lady will be very lucky indeed as she really has the most amazing character and cheeky face!
