Well it was a definite wet one for the entire day today π Yesterday in contrast had some lovely bright moments!
It's looking like rain is the only story for the foreseeable. Booooo! I always find it funny how some dogs embrace it and others are like, 'nope, no thank you π'. A bit like people I suppose!
Rain brings with it an extra workload, all dogs are showered if needed as best as possible with a mobile shower, towelled down to dry as best as possible. I sometimes use my own dog coats if yours aren't to hand.

Things that can help me in this weather.
Outside door mats! They're a life saver for taking off any left over mud/ debris and to stop it from entering your home. I shower my boots where possible, and take them off if it's extreme. I do a little happy dance when I see an outdoor mat (don't be checking those ring door bells π)
Where needed, provide dog coats (I know some don't need them and some are anxious to wear them).
Towels! Again I carry a good quantity and use them at the end of a walk. Sometimes your dogs get wet again going from my van to their home and need an extra towel rub once inside. I've cleaned nearly a dozen towels after work today π
Your understanding. This is an important one!
It takes extra time to wash and dry dogs, clean/take off and put back on my boots. Swap coats/ clothes that are saturated.
Timings can sometimes go south! I do my best to stay on track and I keep buffers in the day so I don't often run late. I always keep you updated (unless I'm driving) where this occurs.
A WHOPPING BIG THANK YOU to my customers for your love and support always. I love your pets so very much π I count my lucky stars daily. π πππππ
