Just look at handsome Dexter after his groom.

Dexter had a lot of coat to work through and was well into his moult, so there was plenty of loose coat hiding in there.

A really good bath, a thorough brush through and plenty of time with the banded comb to help work through that moulting coat, followed by a tidy up, and just look at the result.

Sometimes they don’t need anything drastic... just a little TLC to get that coat clean, fresh and back looking its best.

And I think you’ll agree… Dexter looks very handsome indeed.

This is beautiful little Dottie, a gorgeous Cockerpoo puppy who absolutely loves a fuss

She’s such a sweet little character and is more than happy to soak up all the attention during her visit.

Lots of cuddles, gentle handling and plenty of positive experiences are all part of helping our puppies learn that grooming can be a lovely experience from the very beginning.

Just look at that face… how could I resist giving her a little extra fuss.

A LITTLE THANK YOU BEFORE I SWITCH OFF...

A huge THANK YOU to all of my lovely customers for bearing with me over the last few weeks.

It’s been a bit of a whirlwind behind the scenes trying to get as many of you booked in before my holiday, but one thing I’ve been determined to keep is the calm, quiet environment your dogs know and love.

So whilst I might have been internally thinking “HOW AM I GOING TO FIT EVERYONE IN?! the dogs have hopefully been completely oblivious, enjoying their one to one time with me as normal.

And thank you for being so brilliant with drop off and collection time.... when I’m working to a very carefully planned diary, you arriving on time makes a HUGE difference and helps me keep everything calm and relaxed for the dogs.

Also… thank you for politely ignoring my increasingly frizzy hair because by the last few weeks I’m not sure who has been more in need of a groom… me or the dogs.

Bailey’s having a lovely relaxing bath…

Until he decides it’s time to SHAKE.

Not twice.

But enough to ensure every single surface within a 10ft radius gets a nice little Newfoundland shower.

Bailey? Drying nicely.
Me? Absolutely soaked.
The salon? Needs a mop.

And the look on his face says “I’d do it again.”

Well... I may have accidentally spoiled your dogs even more.

The new Ruff to Regal Treat Station is officially open. After their groom, every dog can pick their own well earned treat before heading home.

At the moment I've stocked it with:

Sausages
Buffalo Tails
Cod Twists
Calming Treats

I love adding little touches that make coming to the salon a positive experience. If the dogs leave looking amazing and excited to come back next time, then I've done my job.

A little reminder about deposits...

My diary is now incredibly busy, with very limited availability until September, and I have lots of dogs patiently waiting for an appointment.

If you've been offered an appointment, please pay your booking deposit as soon as you receive the request. Every appointment is reserved especially for your dog, and I simply can't keep spaces on hold indefinitely when there are so many others waiting.

To make things as easy as possible, you'll receive two text message reminders requesting your deposit. While they're there to help, every reminder sent and every booking system I use comes at a cost to my small business, so I'd really appreciate deposits being paid promptly rather than waiting for the reminders.

This is also exactly why I'm always encouraging everyone to rebook before leaving the salon. When you book your next appointment while you're here, your deposit simply rolls over to secure it. No text reminders, no chasing deposits, no worrying about availability.....just one less thing for you to think about.

The deposit isn't there because I don't trust you...it's there because once I've reserved that time, I can't offer it to another dog. If an appointment isn't confirmed and then goes unused, another dog has missed out on a much needed groom.

To keep things fair for everyone, appointments that remain unpaid after the two reminder texts will be released and offered to another dog on my waiting list.
