We are a Kennel Club registered dog training club based on the outskirts of Rugby in Warwickshire. The club was formed in 1962 as a training club for pet dogs and their owners and we are one of the longest established and successful dog training clubs in the UK

The Club is a non profit making organisation run by enthusiasts on a voluntary basis, no Committee Member, Trainer or Officials of the Club is paid. The main aims of the Club are to benefit the residents of Rugby and surrounding areas with the basic handling and understanding of their dogs and to promote the responsible training of dogs using the latest kind training methods. The Clubs Training Centre known as the "The Barn" measures 33 meters x 25 meters and has the best indoor working surface to be found anywhere, its non slip and cushioned so dogs can replicate outdoor performance indoors !!

🌟 2027 BEGINNERS OBEDIENCE COURSES & CLUB ACTIVITIES 🌟

Our popular Beginners Obedience sessions are filling up for next year. Held on Thursday evenings 7.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

To book a place on one of the courses or to check availability you need to come up to the training barn on a Thursday evening to see the membership secretary around 7.15 p.m./7.30p.m.

The cost of the beginners obedience course is £80.00 for 8 weeks. It takes place on a Thursday evening 7.00 p.m. to 8..00 p.m.

Start Dates as follows:

• 14th January
• 11th March
• 6th May
• 1st July
• 26th August
• 21st October

Club Activities & Key Info

• Obedience (Thursdays): From puppy training all the way to Competition Obedience.
• RKC Good Citizen (Mondays), Heelwork to Music, & RKC Rally (Alternative Tuesdays): Check the notice board inside the training barn for upcoming course details, or speak directly with the Membership Secretary.
• Agility (Wednesdays): We currently have a waiting list. To register your interest, you must see the Membership Secretary in person on a Thursday evening.

Places on any of our courses cannot be booked or reserved via Facebook Messenger. To join the club, sign up for a course, or get on the agility waiting list, please come to The Barn (CV23 0JJ) on a Thursday evening between 7:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to see our Membership Secretary in person.

• Cancellations: In the event of adverse weather, any session cancellations will be posted on the page.

PARA-OBEDIENCE TRAINING
The next training session is set for Nov 8th from 12pm until 4pm

Bring and share lunch with plenty of tea and coffee for handlers and water for the dogs.

Cost £5 for members £20 non members (£15 membership £5 for the training)
