Good morning,

We have been to check on field. Sadly someone has left the inner gate open allowing it to blow on itself and damage one of the posts. So to secure the field until we have time to fix it, you'll have to shut the first gate.

Also, AGAIN. Can people PLEASE TAKE THEIR POO BAGS WITH THEM. The plant pots, hedges, benches etc are NOT poo bins. We haven't provided a poo bin because we are not getting rid of other people's dog poo. We don't ask for a lot, just to take your poo with you and shut the gates properly. Ideally don't drive over the hose either but suppose can't win it all... 🤷🏼‍♀️🤭

We are saying our final goodbyes to our son on Wednesday. We sadly do not have the time to pretty up the field. So, we understand if people would rather use another secure field.

Thank you for the loyal, respectful clients and I'm sorry some ruin it for you. If people respected the field it wouldn't get in such a mess 💔

We've been away, and will be away for the foreseeable future. You're welcome to still use the field, but please don't expect any email or message responses and by now the grass is likely overgrown.

We want to take a moment to share some incredibly difficult news with you, and we hope you’ll understand the need for this message to come in this way, as we currently do not have the strength to respond individually.

As many of you know, Mollie and I have been expecting our baby boy and were due any day. After a completely healthy and above-standard pregnancy, Mollie went into labour Friday the 25th. Tragically, during early labour, our sons heart unexpectedly stopped. After an emergency c section he was resuscitated. He is currently on life support, and the situation remains extremely serious. His heart stopped for 24 minutes.

Doctors are unsure of what caused this, an immediate national investigation has been launched due to how suddenly and inexplicably this has happened. Despite the emergency C-section and the efforts of the medical team, our son has suffered what appears to be severe brain damage and potential organ failure. He has been undergoing cold therapy in an attempt to limit further damage, and as of 8pm tonight, the process of warming him will begin.

If he survives this transition and becomes strong enough in the coming days, he will undergo an MRI to help us understand the full extent of his injuries and possibly learn more about what happened. Right now, we are in a state of total shock and heartbreak.

We know many of you have reached out with kind messages and concern, and we are truly grateful for your love and support. Please understand that if we haven’t replied, it’s not because we don’t care, we are simply trying to survive each moment right now and focus entirely on our baby and each other.

Mollie is and has been amazing, recovering well and is now walking again after a brutal and rushed c section.

Wags n whiskers is, of course, on hold while we navigate this unthinkable situation. We will keep you updated as we can, and we so appreciate your patience, compassion, and respect for our space in the meantime.

🚨 We’re Alive! And have a NEW BOOKING SYSTEM 🚨

Well, that was a wild winter. Since we last checked in, we have:

🏡 Moved house unexpectedly
🚗 Dug a new driveway (because teleportation isnt readily available)
⛲️ Fixed a leaky roof (because waterfalls belong in nature, not the kitchen)
🛀 Battled a broken boiler (nothing like a cold shower to wake you up)
🛠 Rebuilt doors, built sheds, and generally played real-life DIY SOS

👼 Oh, and found out we’re having a baby! 🎉🥳

All while running a dog walking business, looking after our 5 (yes, FIVE) dogs, and keeping the secure field going. Safe to say, things have been a little chaotic. And just when we thought we were getting back on track… our booking system decided to take an unannounced holiday. 🤦

We know it’s been a bit quiet on here, and we truly appreciate your patience. There’s still plenty to do (baby scans, house fixes, and general survival), but we’re working hard to make sure your visits to the field remain the peaceful, secure, and joyful experience they’re meant to be.

Over the coming weeks, as summer fast approaches, we will again be cutting shapes in the field. No, not dancing 💃🕺. We have exciting plans for the grass cutting this year and a few extra things to add too. we can’t wait to see you all again!
