🐴 Gastroscopy Yard Days – We Come to You! 🐴
Are you suspicious that your horse may be suffering from gastric ulcers, but find it difficult to arrange a gastroscopy because of the travel and logistics involved?
We’re pleased to announce that Tyrrells Equine are now offering Gastroscopy Yard Days — bringing our experienced, friendly team directly to your yard, so there’s no need for you or your horse to travel to the clinic.
🐴 What’s included?
If you have 3 or more horses at the same yard requiring gastroscopy, we can arrange a dedicated yard visit at a discounted price of £200 per gastroscopy, including the visit charge and any sedation required.
A small team of our experienced Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Nurses will attend your yard on the morning of your chosen date, with allocated appointment times for each horse. Following this, you will receive a detailed veterinary report of our findings including images and a treatment plan for your horses individual needs.
🐴 Yard requirements
To make sure the day runs smoothly:
• A minimum of 3 horses must be booked from the same yard.
• The yard must have access to electricity.
• A suitable, safe area must be available for the procedure to take place.
• Horses must be able to be starved for the required period prior to gastroscopy.
