This lovely girl is Lola. Lola joined me online for a session today and it was nice to be able to see her on video too.

Lola has been with her current human friends less than a year and they are getting to know each other. Lola was able to give some information about her background and what happened to her from a young age.

We also spoke about the activities Lola currently does and the things she would like to do in future too. There has been some unwanted behaviour and we discussed that and have hopefully got to the bottom of that as well as come up with some ways to support Lola to behave in the way her humans would prefer.

Lola likes where she lives and who she lives with and was keen to make sure she isn't going anywhere in the near future. Being able to reassure our animal friends about their living arrangements is always useful as it is concerning when you aren't sure how long you are going to live somewhere.

Thankfully for Lola, there are no big changes on the horizon.

This morning's session was with Scooby who is in spirit. It was such a lovely session with Scooby sharing memories as well as answering questions that his human friend had for him.

Scooby showed his love of water by showing me him covered in pond w**d and muck as well as mentioning the ducks too.

We talked about the cat that Scooby shared his life with and how their relationship was as well as how they were when left in the house together.

We asked Scooby about his favourite walk and he showed me him walking in the frost which meant he stayed relatively clean and didn't have to go through a clean up when he got home.

Sessions like this are always such a privilege, thank you for connecting with me Scooby, run free lovely boy.

This lovely girl really made me work hard at the start but we got there in the end and there was some brilliant feedback a few days after the session.

Luna is a lovely girl but she has been displaying some unwanted behaviour which we talked about a lot and were able to understand why she does what she does. We discussed other options and gave her some choices to think about.

Luna's human is concerned about Luna getting hurt but Luna wants to do things and not worry too much, she is a bit of a thrill seeker.

We discussed other horses she lives with and how she likes her bedding. She also shared how much she likes the water where she is.

Luna has a very strong 'flight' reaction and that can sometimes be a little disconcerting. We talked about her changing that to a 'freeze' response and her human contacted me after the session to say that Luna has made that choice now and it is working well.

The relationship between her and her human friend has improved since the session with Luna being easier to catch and actually coming to her name now. As her human put it 'It's like she got better overnight'.

I do love hearing how the sessions have helped animals have safer and happier lives and hearing how Luna has improved makes my heart sing. Well done Luna you superstar.

Today's session was with Div, which is a shortened version of his show name.

In the session we discussed the activities that Div would like to continue doing, as well as some new activities he would like to try.

We made sure he is feeling good and he was able to share some areas of his body he would like some support with in terms of massage and stretching.

We talked about some of the other horses Div knows and how he feels about them and he also shared his feelings about sheep and foals.

Such an informative session rounded off by Div showing me how he throws his orange bucket out of the stable. As this session was online using a photo, this was excellent proof of the connection I was sharing with Div as I couldn't see this behaviour.

Fantastic in person session tonight with Chance. She is adorable.

We spoke about her past and she told us how many puppies she has had and how many litters. She even described the fathers.

She explained how she felt when she came to her new home and was experiencing a different way of life as well as new food.

We discussed her walks and how she feels about the beach and the woods as well as what she likes to sniff and why she finds play difficult to understand.

Chance has had some recent medical intervention and she shared her experience of that and how she felt before as well as how she is feeling now.

Being able to share the emotional bond between Chance and her human friend was so lovely and it was wonderful for me to be able to share some live and fuss with Chance too.

This cheeky chappie is Cairo and we have had a great session today. He is so cheeky and funny, it really brightened my day to talk to him.

Cairo is a very lucky boy and has been with the same human friend since he was born. He has had a few different riders and talked about those in his session. He stressed the importance of a saddle not only fitting the horse, but the rider too and what a difference that can make.

Cairo is enjoying the activities he does currently but is also looking forward to some more adventurous things in the future.

Cairo thinks he has another animal visible on his side, can you see it??

Honey by name and sweet as honey by nature.

Honey has recently had a bereavement and her human friend wanted to check in with her and see how she is doing since her equine friend passed. Honey was very pragmatic about the situation and shared her thoughts and feelings about what happened.

Being able to listen to these important emotions is such an honour for me and it helps the humans involved feel confident in their choices and handling of situations such as this.

After we had discussed what had happened, Honey spoke about other things including her new bridle and the children who come to see her. She happily gave permission for one of the children to ride her and gave some suggestions about how this can be more comfortable for Honey and the child involved.

This was a lovely session and it is good to know Honey is feeling ok after her loss.
