No surprise really… but still such a shame.
Rowde Parish Council has now formally objected to our retrospective planning application for the dog agility equipment at Seven Acres.
It’s disappointing that, rather than supporting a small local business that provides a safe, secure space for dogs and their owners, they have chosen to object and raise a whole range of wider issues that have very little to do with the agility equipment itself.
Seven Acres has always been about giving people somewhere private, peaceful and secure to exercise their dogs — particularly nervous, reactive and rescue dogs who may struggle elsewhere.
The agility equipment is simply there to make the field more enjoyable and enriching for the dogs who already use it.
We’re incredibly grateful for the support we continue to receive from our customers and the wider community. It really does mean a lot, especially when local support from elsewhere is rather lacking.
Hopefully Wiltshire Council will look at the application on its actual planning merits and see the equipment for what it is — dog agility equipment at a dog exercise field. 🐾
Thank you, as always, for supporting Seven Acres. ❤️
