What an amazing day we had yesterday at The Big Help Out fun dog show in aid of Brighton and Hove Soiree Rotary Club!

It was fantastic to see so many owners with their beloved four legged friends, taking part in our fun dog show.

A special thank you to all the team from The Mewes Vets, and the wonderful Amanda from The Traitors Season 4 for being a wonderful judge🥰

We look forward to seeing many more of you next year!

☀️🐶 Hot Weather Reminder for Dog Owners 🐶☀️

The sunshine is lovely, but warm weather can be dangerous for our furry friends. Please help keep your dogs safe by remembering:

💧 Always provide plenty of fresh water
🌳 Walk dogs early morning or later evening when it’s cooler
🔥 Avoid hot pavements — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws
🚗 Never leave dogs in cars, even for a few minutes
😎 Make sure they have access to shade and cool spaces

Watch for signs of heatstroke including excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, or collapse.

Let’s keep our four-legged friends happy, healthy, and cool in the heat! 🐾💛

From Monday 18th May, we are delighted that Dr Alice Denning will be returning permanently to be the lead vet at our Peacehaven clinic. This will enable us to offer more appointments, throughout the day, and a full time vet exclusively working at our Peacehaven clinic four long days a week.
