🐾❤️ A little birthday fundraiser for a very special reason… ❤️🐾

Tomorrow is my birthday, and this year I’ve been raising money for South Yorkshire Street Cats, the rescue centre where our gorgeous Alfie came from🥹🐱

Anyone who knows me will know just how much this little lad means to me. He came into my life from a rescue centre and somehow managed to completely steal my heart… although, looking at that face, I’m not entirely sure how he had any choice in the matter! 😂❤️

I’ve currently raised £75, and I’d absolutely LOVE to get this to £100 before I send the donation over 🙏🏻

So if anyone would like to help me reach that final £25, even £1 would mean so much. Every pound helps a rescue like South Yorkshire Street Cats continue to care for cats who need somewhere safe, food, veterinary treatment and, hopefully, a loving home.

I know GoFundMe can add a small fee to donations, so if you’d prefer to donate directly, I’m also happy to accept donations via PayPal. If you send it using Friends & Family, there shouldn’t be any fees deducted, so the full amount can go into the fundraising pot ❤️

One of my morning visits today was to the lovely Stinger and he was actually my last visit of the morning before I finally headed home! 🧡

What an absolutely beautiful ginger boy he is😍
Such a handsome lad, and he was more than happy to have some fuss and attention before I headed off.

And after being out since 6:15am, Stinger was the perfect final stop before home, a brew and putting my feet up! 😂☕️

🐾 Morning visit with Teddy & Gabby 🐾

One of my morning visits today was to see the lovely Teddy and Gabby ❤️

As always, Gabby was patiently waiting on the kitchen step for her Porus which she has for her kidneys. She knows the routine and is always ready and waiting for it!

Meanwhile, Teddy was desperate to get outside for a wander🐾 Unfortunately, I couldn’t let him out this morning as he sometimes decides that coming back in time isn’t particularly high on his list of priorities! 😂

But tonight is different. Teddy can have his freedom tonight because he’ll be my last visit, so I’ll have plenty of time to wait for him to come back in before I leave🥰

🌸 Morning cuddles with this lovely gang! 🐾💕

What a gorgeous bunch I had the pleasure of visiting this morning! 😻

We’ve got the three little kittens — Opal, Wicket and Archie — bringing all the kitten chaos and cuteness 🥹🐾

Then there’s handsome Leo, the Maine C**n, Oscar, the gorgeous cream British Shorthair, and Dottie and Teddy, the two beautiful black British Shorthairs 🖤

Seven cats, seven very different personalities… and somehow they’ve all managed to completely melt my heart! ❤️

A morning spent surrounded by this lot? I’ll happily take that as a pretty good start to the day! 😻🐾

🌧️ One of those days! 🌧️

Today definitely didn’t go to plan! 😂

One of my lovely clients has had to be rushed into hospital, so I’ve stepped in to help out with three extra visits to make sure her cats are still getting all the love and care they need 🐾❤️

But getting to them today has been a bit of an adventure! With the heavens absolutely opening, the M1 was badly flooded and I hit a patch of standing water that completely covered my windscreen for a moment, I genuinely couldn’t see a thing! 😳

So I came off the motorway, changed my route, only to then encounter a fallen tree blocking the road. Cue another detour, flooded side roads and very careful driving. Nearly an hour later, I finally arrived!

It’s definitely one of those days where nothing seems to go according to plan, but when you’re responsible for someone’s beloved cats, you do whatever you safely can to get there 🐱💕

And thankfully, after all that drama, I was rewarded with some very therapeutic kitten cuddles 🥹🐾

Because apparently the best cure for a stressful journey is a purring kitten. And I’m not going to argue with that! 😂❤️

Last visit this morning to these two cheeky boys, Marley and Teddy ❤️

Which means… no more pigeon crime scenes, no more running taps, and no more “Where the bloody hell is Teddy?” moments! 😂

Saying that, I really will miss these two naughty lads and their antics.
