Good morning everyone! ☀️

I’m back from Benidorm. I’d like to say I’m fully refreshed and recharged, but that would be a complete lie! 😂

We had an amazing time, lots of laughs, plenty of memories made, and perhaps a little less sleep than recommended.

It’s straight back to business today, starting with a morning visit to the dashingly handsome Buzz 🐾🐈‍⬛

What an incredible first year it’s been!

A whole year of early mornings, evening visits, purrs, head boops, treat requests, lap cuddles, and being thoroughly supervised by cats who were convinced they could do my job better.

To every client who trusted me with their precious feline family members, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support, recommendations, reviews, and kind words have helped my small business grow beyond anything I imagined.

I’ve had the privilege of caring for so many wonderful cats, each with their own unique personality, quirks, and routines, and I genuinely love every minute of it.

Tomorrow I’m swapping litter trays and cat treats for sunshine and cocktails as I jet off to Benidorm for a well-earned break! 🍹☀️

I’ll be back on Wednesday 11th June and will resume my kitty care duties then.

Last visit to my regular clients Gabby and Teddy before I head off for a few days of sunshine and relaxation ☀️🐾

It’s been a lovely couple of days spent with these two. As always, they’ve been an absolute pleasure to look after… and I’m pleased to report that Teddy even behaved himself this time! 😹

Last visit this morning with the Catcliffe Crew … Hadi, Myla, Maisie and Lilah 🐾

A proper lovely little gang, and it’s been an absolute pleasure popping in to look after them and keep them in the style they deserve (food, fuss, and being politely judged for not filling bowls fast enough).

I’ll be seeing this fabulous furry foursome again in September for their next booking … can’t wait 😸💛

Morning visits done! 🐾

First stop was the beautiful Bengal boys, Benny and Eddie, who were as handsome and chatty as ever. They’re booked in for my Premium Visits … their pawsrents’ choice to give them that extra time for play, fuss and company while they’re away ❤️

Next up was this gorgeous gang … Hadi the British Shorthair, Myla the little tabby, Lilah the American Shorthair, and of course Maisie, the tabby and white boy 💙

These lovely cats are booked in for one of my Essential Visits … perfect for kitties who just need feeding, fresh water, litter tray maintenance, medication if required, and a little fuss while you’re out.

Whether your cat prefers a quick check-in or a longer visit with extra cuddles and playtime, there’s a service to suit every feline.

Morning kitty visits all done! 🐾

Back home and Mary has very kindly helped me eat my breakfast… although I’m not entirely sure I was consulted on the arrangement! 😹

🐾 Exciting Plans for the Future!

One thing I’m currently looking into is gaining qualifications in cat grooming.

Over the past year, a number of clients have asked if I can recommend a cat groomer, and honestly, there don’t seem to be many cat-specific groomers in South Yorkshire. While some dog groomers offer cat grooming as an additional service, I’m interested in exploring a more cat-focused, holistic approach that takes into account a cat’s individual needs, temperament and wellbeing.

As someone who spends so much time caring for cats, it feels like a natural extension of the services I already provide.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. As a cat owner, is this something you would be interested in? What sort of grooming services would you be looking for?

Day two with these two beautiful Bengal boys, Eddie and Benny, and we’re settling into a lovely routine already.

As anyone who knows Bengals will tell you, they’re full of personality, and these two certainly don’t disappoint! They’re both incredibly chatty and always have plenty to say when I arrive. Whether they’re greeting me at the door, following me around for a fuss, or supervising feeding time, there’s never a dull moment.

It’s always a pleasure getting to know each cat’s unique character, and Eddie and Benny are proving to be wonderful company. I can’t wait to see what adventures and conversations the rest of the week brings!
