Yesterday, gorgeous Dobby visited us for his castration procedure. 🐱✨

Dobby was an absolute superstar throughout his stay with us and charmed the whole team with his sweet nature. After a smooth procedure and plenty of TLC from our nurses, he was soon ready to head home for some rest and recovery. 🏡❤️

Castration is an important part of preventative healthcare for many cats and can help reduce unwanted behaviours while preventing unplanned litters.

We're delighted that Dobby did so well and wish him a speedy recovery. Get plenty of rest, Dobby—we're sure you'll be back to your usual adventures in no time! 😺💙

🌸🪻🌷🌼🐾 Spring is Here… But Some Blooms Can Be Dangerous! 🐾🌼🌷🪻🌸

However, some common spring plants and bulbs can be toxic to dogs and cats if chewed or eaten.

🌼 1. Daffodil (Narcissus)
Particularly toxic parts: Bulbs
Can cause: Vomiting, diarrhoea, drooling, abdominal pain
Severe cases: Heart rhythm changes or breathing difficulties

🌷 2. Tulip
Most toxic part: Bulbs
Can cause: Gastrointestinal upset, drooling, lethargy

🌺 3. Lily of the Valley
Highly toxic to dogs
Can cause: Vomiting, heart problems, seizures

🌸 4. Hyacinth
Bulbs contain irritating compounds
Can cause: Drooling, vomiting, diarrhoea

⚠️ 5. Foxglove
Extremely toxic
Can cause: Severe heart rhythm disturbances

🐶🐱 What Should You Do?
If your pet has chewed or eaten a plant and is showing signs, contact your vet immediately, early treatment makes a big difference.

🌿 Top Spring Safety Tips:
✔️ Keep bulbs stored safely away from curious paws
✔️ Supervise pets in newly planted garden areas
✔️ Research plants before adding them to your garden
