No matter what any groomer tells you we do have favourites😆 and some not so favourite dogs to groom 🤔and i thought it was time i named and shamed my least favourite dog😳... yep there he is... captain chaos, di****ad of the grooming table... Douglas Berry..
And yes he is my dog🤦‍♀️ the one i have to psych myself up to groom...the one i need a large one afterwards🫣 !
How i havnt cut him a new ear hole, ar****le and every other hole i will never know🥴😅
Bloody good job i love him!😍❤️p.s dont be fooled by his big sad eyes👀!

Hi everyone👋
I have just started cutting my lavender down for this year if anyone would like any?🪻 i planted this lavender 10 years ago as young plants and year on year it never fails to provide for the butterfly and bees,sadly this year has been quite sad as i have found lots of dead bees on the ground underneath the lavender which i can only assume has been because of the hot weather 🥺

If you have never had dried lavender in your house you are honestly missing a treat... it is natures most georgous air freshener that gives your Air wick a run for its money😆

Its fabulous for all your rooms and anywhere you need a fresh smell. For my dog owners you will thank me😅

You can also pull the stem and pop them into organza bags to make car and draw air freshners.

I will have plenty as i do a bit every few days so just inbox me if you would like some and i will make sure its laid out at the top of the drive near the steps🥰👍

Could all my lovely clients please keep an eye open for my daughters iphone she has lost it we think at the bottom of Dale hill road it has a pink cover. It saying its in that area we dont know if its the signal as its going through to messenger or of someones found it and turned it off . She has precious photos that arnt all backed up so please please can you keep an eye open many thanks🤞❤️

Gosh emotional week this one... firstly i want to say what a great week we have had having Isabelle for Work experience from Maltby Academy! Her enthusiasm and knowledge for all things dogs made it so easy to teach and show her all things dog grooming! I know like me you will all wish her the best in her chosen path when she leaves school this time next year👏

Secondly a cheerio and huge thanks to Charlie who is leaving Mishka's for a change and to try something differant🥰
Charlie has been my amazing sidekick for 4 years! Walking into Mishkas untrained and walking out a fantastic groomer💪👌
Not only has she supported me when i have struggled with my health but she has also embraced all the ups and downs of what can somedays be a very challenging job👏
Thank you Charlie for loving the dogs and my little salon as i do❤️🫶 i know you will be fab in your next chapter!😍

So lovely peeps on that note i hope everyone has a fantastic summer hols enjoy whatever or wherever you are doing 🐾😎

‼️ To my lovely client's coming to and from the salon i just wanted to warn everyone the lavender on the wall of the drive way is currently full of very busy bees doing bee things!😍 they do not bother anyone but i just wanted to warn anyone who has concerns with our buzzy friends just to walk on the other side of the drive👍
Bees are very important for our environment and i like to feel Mishka's is doing its bit too🫶

So its taken a minute for this post...
Little Ted gained his angel wings 🪽a few weeks ago... and what a little legend he was...
A little dog with a 'huge' personality..it was Teds world🌏.. we were just allowed to live in it😅
Thank you to his amazing owners🫶 for letting us groom him both an honour and a privilage.
Sleep tight 'Teddington' keep being naughty❤️

Beautiful Chip came in for his hand strip and he bossed it like the little champ he is😍
Hand stripping is a process of removing the coat by hand. It is painless for the dog but arduous for the groomer😅

Chip is a young dog who has taken very well to being hand stripped its lovely to see the rich colours coming through his coatas he matures🤗
