☀️ Hot Weather Arena Reminder ☀️

With the sunshine set to continue, it’s a great time to give your arena a little extra care.

Regular watering will help keep dust levels down and maintain the consistency of your surface, while a quick grade will keep everything level and riding nicely. A little maintenance now can go a long way in keeping your arena looking and performing at its best throughout the summer.

Whatever surface you ride on, prolonged periods of hot, dry weather mean moisture levels can reduce more quickly, so it’s worth keeping an eye on conditions and adjusting your maintenance routine where needed.

Most importantly, take care of yourselves and your horses too. Keep cool, stay hydrated, and make the most of the shade during the warmest parts of the day. 🐴💧🌳

Enjoy the sunshine and happy riding! ☀️

⭐ Recently Completed Arena Project in Yorkshire ⭐

We’ve recently supplied our Astro-Mulch on this outdoor arena in Yorkshire, it has been levelled, refreshed, and ready for riding. 🐎✨

The arena has been carefully prepared and finished with a fresh Astro-Mulch surface, creating a supportive and consistent riding surface.

Astro-Mulch provides excellent drainage, cushioning, and grip, helping the arena perform well throughout the year and in all weather conditions. It’s a great choice for maintaining a safe, comfortable surface for horses to work on every day.

It’s great to see this arena finished and ready to be used again. A proper surface makes all the difference to both horse and rider.

If you’re thinking about refreshing your arena surface or starting a new project, feel free to get in touch — we’re always happy to help.

🏇 Why the right surface matters in a lunge pen

Because a lunge pen is smaller than an arena or gallop, the surface still plays an important role in keeping your horse safe and comfortable. A good, well-maintained surface helps your horse move freely without the risk of injury.

It should be strong, durable, and supportive — offering steady footing and protection for joints and limbs. 💪🐴

We’ve been busy this week installing our Astro-Ride surface in an outdoor lunge pen in beautiful North Yorkshire — just in time for the chilly weather ahead! ❄️✨
