CUSTOMER NOTICE

Our reception renovation begins Tuesday morning 🎉

This means we have very limited space for clients to sit and wait for their appointment. Weather permitting, there will be chairs outside to sit on, alternatively you can stay in your air conditioned vehicle and someone will find you. You can either pop your head through the front door or call on 01709 819888 to let us know you’re here.

If you’re unable to wait outside, we will have a couple of chairs in the corridor.

We apologise for the inconvenience and we thank you all for your cooperation and we are very excited to welcome you back inside our new reception in a few weeks time❤️

16/07/2026

Just a polite reminder to our clients that medications need to be ordered with at least 72 hours notice before collecting. This is to ensure we have sufficient time to prescribe and order in your medication for your pets. Thank you 💊

🐾 Tick Awareness: Protect Your Pets This Season 🐾

Ticks are tiny, but the health risks they carry are serious for both pets and people. As the weather gets warmer, ticks become more active in long grass, woodlands, parks, and even gardens.

⚠️ Ticks can spread diseases and may cause irritation, infection, or illness if not removed properly.

Here’s how to help keep your pet safe:

✅ Check your pet after walks — especially around ears, neck, paws, armpits, and tummy
✅ Keep grass and outdoor areas trimmed where possible
✅ Use vet-recommended tick prevention treatments regularly - we have a range of treatments including tablets, spot-ons and injections.
✅ Remove ticks promptly using a proper tick remover — never pull with fingers or burn them off. Tick twisters are available to purchase in reception. These handy tools remove ticks properly with ease.
✅ Contact us if you notice swelling, lethargy, limping, loss of appetite, or any unusual symptoms after a tick bite

🐶🐱 If you’re unsure which tick prevention is best for your pet, our team is happy to help.

📞 Book a parasite prevention check with us today and keep your pets protected all season long.
