What an absolutely amazing day we had! So many gorgeous dogs, brilliant people and plenty of fun throughout the day.

We’re still blown away by the amount of money we managed to raise. It means so much knowing that the day will make a real difference to the cats being cared for by the Greek cat rescue.

Liz couldn’t be happier with what we raised, and honestly, neither could we! 🧡

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, entered a class, donated, helped out, sponsored us or supported the day in any way.

It really was such a special day, and seeing all these photos has brought it all back again.

**Throwback Thursday 🐐📸**

A little throwback to one of the shoots that started it all… my **first ever business photoshoot!** 🥹💕

And what better way to start than with some very cute goats?! 🐐😂

Looking back at these photos brings back so many memories. I was still figuring things out, building my confidence and learning what it was like to photograph for a business rather than just taking photos for fun.

It might not have been the biggest or most glamorous shoot, but it was a really important one for me. It was one of the first steps towards turning my love of photography into something I could actually build a business around. 📸✨

And honestly… I don't think I could have asked for a cuter first client! 🐐🤍

It’s so lovely looking back at where I started and seeing how much I’ve learnt and grown since then. Here’s to all the shoots, opportunities and memories still to come! 🥂📸

What I Offer Wednesday 📸

Photography that helps tell your story — and sometimes helps support a good cause too. ❤️

This week I wanted to highlight something a little different that I offer: promotional and community photography.

Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph four firefighters from Ross-on-Wye and Whitchurch who are taking part in a fundraising effort for The Fire Fighters Charity.

I wanted to help them create some photos they can use to promote what they're doing, while also using the opportunity to support their fundraising through my own photography business.

📸 And here's where you come in...

Throughout September, a percentage of every booking I receive will be donated towards the fundraising they're doing for The Fire Fighters Charity.

So if you've been thinking about booking a photographer for a portrait session, family photos, an event, business content, promotional photos or anything else, September is a great time to do it.

You'll be getting your photography while also helping contribute to a fantastic cause. ❤️

I love being able to use my photography to support other people, local organisations and good causes — and I'm hoping this is the first of many opportunities to do exactly that.

TALK-TO-ME TUESDAY 📸💬

Old photos, newer ones, and a few that probably should never have made it out of my camera roll 😂

But I thought I'd do something a little different today and let you get to know the person behind the camera!

Hi, I'm Sophia — the person behind the camera! 👋

You might know me for the photos I share, but there's a lot more to me than the posed selfies you might see on here. I thought these photos were a pretty good way of showing a few different sides of me — photographer, outdoorsy, animal lover, foodie... and apparently someone who thinks climbing over fences is a perfectly reasonable activity. 😂

So, why photography?

Honestly, because I love the little moments.

The moments that might seem ordinary when they happen, but years later become the ones you wish you could go back to. The laugh that wasn't posed. The look between two people. The tiny details you didn't realise you'd want to remember.

That's what I love about photography — I get to freeze those moments in time and turn them into something you can actually hold onto. ❤️

I love meeting new people, getting to know their stories and creating photos that feel like them, rather than just a collection of perfectly posed pictures.

And that's why I do what I do. 📸

You don’t need to have everything figured out.

You just need to keep showing up.

Keep posting.
Keep creating.
Keep learning.
Keep putting yourself out there — even when it feels awkward, even when nobody seems to be watching, and even when you’re wondering if any of it is working.

Every business starts somewhere. 📈

So if you’re building something you believe in, take this as your Monday reminder:

**You’re allowed to start small. You’re allowed to learn as you go. And you’re allowed to be proud of how far you’ve already come.** 🤍

This little one definitely deserves a Saturday spotlight! 🥹❤️

One of my favourite things about photography is that you never quite know what you're going to find when you take your camera out.

I spotted this little duckling enjoying the water and just had to grab my camera. 📸

Those tiny, unexpected moments are some of my favourite things to photograph — and sometimes you don't realise just how special the photo is until you look back at it. 🥰
