Brilliant post form Brookfield vets
During these high temperatures I'm trying to continue to groom your beautiful dogs by starting earlier and rearranging afternoon appointments to my days off to avoid the hottest part of the afternoon sun. I do have an air-conditioning unit and im trying to use the bare minimum amount of heat when drying.
Please be mindful of walking your dogs to me as the pavements can get incredibly hot. Driving down and parking in Morrisons carpark is a good choice as I'm only over the road.

Hot Weather Reminder Everyone☀️
With temperatures set to rise this week, we’d like to remind all our clients to take extra care when travelling to appointments with their pets.
🐶 Please DO NOT walk your dog to the practice in the heat, even if you live nearby. Hot pavements and high temperatures can quickly lead to overheating and burnt paw pads.
🚗 Please also do not leave your pet in the car, even for a few minutes. Vehicles can become dangerously hot in a very short space of time.
❄️ The good news is that we have a fully air-conditioned waiting area, so once you arrive, please come inside and relax in the cool while you wait for your appointment.
Offer your pets:
💧 Lying in a paddling pool
🧊 Playing with frozen cubes 🧊 of eg chicken stock
🚿 A hosing down with a garden hose pipe
