A very fond farewell and good luck 🫶
It is with great sadness that we announce that Alison Hammond has decided that the time has come to hang up her stethoscope and leave her role at Mainstone.
Ali has been a much-loved member of our team since September 2000. Alongside her passion and dedication to patient care, Ali has always been a strong advocate for positive change within the practice. Her enthusiasm and commitment have helped us achieve our Cat Friendly status and make significant improvements to our environmental and green credentials.
Ali has also been a passionate supporter of the veterinary profession and its future. Over the years, she has hosted countless Cubs and Brownies evenings at the practice and visited many schools, inspiring and encouraging the next generation of veterinary surgeons.
As many of you will know, Ali was named Petplan Vet of the Year 2024/2025 — a truly well-deserved recognition of her outstanding dedication and hard work.
In total, Ali has given more than 40 years of service to the veterinary profession, leaving an incredible legacy and having made a lasting difference to so many pets, their families, and the colleagues fortunate enough to work alongside her.
We will all miss you enormously, Ali, but we are incredibly grateful for everything you have given to Mainstone and the veterinary profession.
We wish you every happiness and success in all your future ventures. ❤️
Thank you for everything, Ali.
