We’ve had a lot of people bringing in cats recently, most of which have been microchipped which has made reuniting them with their families super easy.
We have also had many upset people losing cats because other people have been feeding them.
If you find a cat, please don’t feed it until you’ve done some research. You may accidentally encourage it away from a loving home.
Obviously there’s a difference between a healthy well fed cat and a starving stray but you’d be surprised how many people assume that a cat is hungry just because it meows, despite it being a healthy weight.
