One of my favourite parts of being a dog groomer is getting to know each and every dog that walks through my salon door. 🚪🐾

It’s not just about giving them a haircut and making them look and smell lovely. It’s about getting to know their individual personalities, their little quirks, what makes them happy, and whether they prefer cuddles, silly voices or a little extra reassurance. 🥹🥰

Every dog is different, and I love being able to adapt to each of them and make their grooming experience as positive as possible.🫶🏼

Watching this video back has genuinely put a smile on my face. Sometimes, a wagging tail and a happy little face are all the reminders I need that I’m doing something right. It’s moments like these that make me feel proud of what I’m building with my business, and remind me why I love what I do. 🐶♥️

For me, it’s never just been about grooming. It’s about making every dog feel safe, comfortable and happy whilst they’re in my care. 🤍

And Bertie certainly looks pretty pleased with his haircut, don’t you think? 🐶🩵

Darling Dexter! This gorgeous big friendly giant has the biggest personally, and give the best kisses and cuddles. I have pampering this prince since he was only 4 months old, & he was MUCH smaller back then, but still had the biggest heart. Dexter came in for his autumn pamper & thoroughly enjoyed it, as always! 🎃 I adore seeing you Dex, and can’t wait for you to knock me over when you give me a big Dexter cuddle again 😂🥹🥰!

I have been so blessed to of known Jim for 8 wonderful years! With those beautiful eyes, his cheeky little smile and a personality that makes him so special, he’s an absolute pleasure to have on my grooming table. Dogs like Jim are a little reminder of why I love what I do so much. 🤍

Handsome Otis is what I like to call to as “A distinguished gentleman”. Although Otis absolutely loves his muddy walks and splashing through puddles with his Mum & Dad 🐾 … Otis also enjoys a good old pamperooni at Barks & Bubbles 🫧🛁. The way he sits, with his back up straight and his hair shining, like he’s posing to be on the front cover of a dog show magazine! Just utterly pawfect 🫶🏼📸.

Otis really enjoys the fuss for sure, little cutie! He loves his snuggles, and kisses & adores being called “brave boy!” He is super relaxed and always leaves with a waggling tail! 🫶🏼🐶

Reggie is a beautiful Toy Poodle, with such a lovely little personality. He came in for his usual teddy bear cut, along with lots of kisses and cuddles of course! 🥰

✨I don’t really see this as a job… ✨

Yes, it can be tiring. There are challenging dogs, difficult days, busy days where lunch gets forgotten and evenings where I’m completely exhausted.

But then there are these moments… the kisses, the cuddles, the wagging tails and the trust these beautiful dogs give me. 🥹🐶🤎

I get to spend my days caring for your babies, making them feel comfortable, loved and looking their best — and I honestly wouldn’t change it for the world. 🫶🏼

I’m so incredibly lucky to do what I love every single day. 🥰❤️

Teddy, you handsome old chap 🐾🧡

Teddy came for his first visit with me, and did absolutely incredible. 🥹✨ He struggles with sore eyes, so it was important I made sure his eyes were nice and clean from long hair, helping to keep him as comfortable as possible.

For an older boy, Teddy was such a little superstar throughout his groom. 🐶🫧 He took everything in his stride and was such a pleasure to pamper.

Irwin comes in for his puppy grooms, to gradually get him used to all the sights, sounds and feels of the grooming salon — eventually getting him ready for his big boy groom! 🐶🫧✂️

These little puppy visits are all about building confidence, making grooming a positive experience and, of course, having lots of cuddles along the way. 🥹🧡🎃
