A massive thank you to the fabulous people who came to my rescue🧡

This isn't fool proof and on warm days grooms may still have to be adapted as the dryers can still fight against the Aircon.

However, the salon is lovely and cool and all appointments can now go ahead!

If it is a warm day please don't walk the salon 🐶🐾

Here I am with yet another weather update!

Remember when our summers consisted of one hot week at the most 🙃😂 this year obviously has other ideas!

I am doing my best to source an air conditioning unit so that there will be less disruptions to appointments - thanks again for all bearing with me. I know that you all understand that when I do cancel, it is for the best interest of the pup 🐶🐾

Moving forward grooms may also need to be adapted. Heat will not be used in the dryers and sometimes the dog may not be fully dry. The groom may not be as polished and a shorter clip may need to be considered, but your dog will be cleaner/tidier and grateful even if they aren't as fluffy!

* Moans about the heat * 😂🥵

In all honesty running a business when you work with dogs can be difficult when the weather keeps throwing these spells of extreme heat at us.

Everyone has been so brilliant at rearranging and I'm forever grateful for having such great customers who understand that any change in schedule is for the health and well being of the dogs 🐶🐾

It definitely isn't for a day off ( if you know me well you will know I'm a sun dodger and I will somewhere in the shade!)

Please be kind to people who are trying the best to earn a living, pay their bills and keep everyone safe and happy at the same time ❤️

Please read if you walk local to Healey Stones ⚠️

I am pretty sure that green - blue algae is present on the lane behind Brown House Wham Reservoir.

Location 📍If you are going up to the two res' (from the Healey Stones area) it is on the lane at the top of the second reservoir (as if you were walking back towards Ending Rake)

See picture ( view from if you approached the opposite way from Toad Leach Lane)

At first I thought it was oil on the water (bikes and quads etc) go along there, but it is all along the lane and around the edges where oil couldn't go.

I couldn't get a picture as I was carrying Nala. 💕

I could be wrong but I would rather warn people. Especially in the warm weather as dogs will go in /drink any water they find.

Please share if you know others that live in the area ⚠️

It looks like we are going to be in for a hot week again next week. If it gets too hot in the salon I will be rearranging appointments for the dogs safety and comfort.

I will be in touch directly with anyone this affects. I will try and give as much notice as possible, however we all know how unpredictable the great British weather can be.

If you have any concerns in the meantime, please get in touch
