Yes, you read that right. We have movement. Major movement at that🤩It’s been a long time coming. A lot of ‘soon’, ‘hopefully this summer’, ‘shouldn’t be long’, but now it is DEFINITELY looking like August when we will be opening our Ice Cream Parlour🥳🍦Although we have no exact opening daye just yet, we can update you guys by letting you know that the check list is getting checked off🫡✅

• Get builder on site and map the job up…tick✔️
•Get builder here to discuss interiors…tick✔️
•Order manufacturing machinery…tick✔️
• Complete food hygiene + allergens courses…tick✔️

so now…

•GET SHED BUILT AND UP…as we speak, by the end of the month!🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

In the meantime, we will be touching base with our suppliers for things such as: flavourings, sauces, utensils, cones + tubs, sprinkles and all the fun bits🍡🍭🍨

So….you guys will probably be our first customers considering the ice creamery will be conveniently right next to you when you book the field🤭your input matters!!!

We will have 4 original flavours:
Vanilla🤍Raspberry Ripple🩷Chocolate🤎Mint Choc Chip💚BUT, we have space to offer 12 in our counter therefore we need some inspo for the remaining 8 flavours.

🏆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲! 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀.🏆

It is hard to believe that this time last year we were hosting our free taster week upon on our grand opening!🤯In this time, we have welcomed hundreds of dogs into our field and have met plenty of wonderful people. People who were once strangers have become some of our daily, weekly and every now & again regulars.🥹 In a year, we have grown a strong following and have had some great opportunities proposed to us, and because of you, this is where we are today. Thriving, successful but most of all incredibly thankful🫶

Our first anniversary has to be a biggie😝and this year we are treating our humans more than our fur-legged babies, because come on…they are ALL spoilt and always get the spotlight!!🔦Those dogs wouldn’t get to have the pleasure of being brought to Skedaddle, without you, their owners. So…this is for you👇🏻👇🏻

🐮 𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨 𝙨𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨🐮

A little introduction to these girlies who follow you up and down the fence line, sunbathe beside you and come up to the fence to say hi🥰

𝔽𝕌ℕ 𝔽𝔸ℂ𝕋: Every single one of our cows have names (not just numbers) and we decide them based on the theme of their mum + dads names🙂We know all 50 of their names off by heart!

These are some of our young stock cows who some are carrying their first time calves, due towards mid-end of summer. We love having our cows out to graze with the sun on their backs, it is so good for them in so many ways! We always turn majority of our cows out every summer so you will always have a new batch of girls for your dogs to make friends with. We believe some pups already have made them their friends already!💘 These girls will soon join the milking herd, once they have had their calves and producing milk, and these will be the lovely faces behind your ice creams!🍦💛

Each of our cows have their own characters quirks and personalities, just like our dogs, which is why they are implemented so closely to the dog field and our soon to be ice creamery parlour🍨so you can see that for yourselves😁

We love answering any questions you may have about our cows and we love your photos even more so so keep sending them in!💟

☀️𝐻𝒶𝓅𝓅𝓎 𝐵𝐻 𝑀𝑜𝓃𝒹𝒶𝓎☀️

It’s a beautiful day for it😎It’s giving actual British Summer Time vibes🤌🏼🌞

But…we can’t have it all. Whilst the sun is out, temperatures are reaching 28°-30° 🔥today making it the hottest day of the year so far and too hot for our little paw friends🐾🐶

The beauty of our field means that dogs can still get their daily activity in without risking their wellbeing and minimal exposure to extreme heat if used tactically. Temperatures are cooler during the early mornings and later evenings and don’t reach extreme figures till later on this afternoon when the sun is at peak (12pm onwards). Whilst today is exceptionally hot we are able to be flexible with our hours to ensure your dogs safety is number 1 priority♥️We are fully booked this morning but do have some availability later this evening. Please private message our page to look into booking a cooler time frame this evening. Whilst the atmosphere is still humid and muggy, the field is 90% shaded due to the overhang of our trees providing constant shelter from the sun for you and your dog/s. We have 2 water taps on site for hydration, KEY!💧🚰 The field will also be a lot less cooler on your dogs paws than concrete to🌳.

A great opportunity for your dogs to still get out the house whilst keeping them safe on days like today! Drop us a message if this works for you🐕‍🦺

📝A notice to make all our dog pawrents aware that this year we will supporting our local agricultural show, Great Harwood Show, in the pet dog classes, this Monday. 😃11 classes to enter meaning 11 winners. For each first prize of each class, you will be awarded a Skedaddle voucher worth x1 free session at our field, for as many dogs as you like. 🏅 Just for context that is 11 vouchers worth at most £200. For just a small entry fee of £2.50 per class, you could be in with a chance to win more than one of our free vouchers depending on how many classes you enter😜🐶 If this is of any interest to any of our visitors, or perhaps someone who has never experienced Skedaddle before (this is a great chance for you, free aswell🤑) please see the classes that are running below. I know some of our close regulars would make great candidates for some of these classes 😏🤪

orrrr, more like…

👀 ᴡʜᴏ ᴀʀᴇ ʏᴏᴜ????👀

No matter what they are both thinking, 🥰𝐂𝐔𝐓𝐄🥰

In summer, we turn our cows out to graze. Every summer you will have a bunch of our girls next to your fur friends!🤗 But, not to worry! Our girlies are always very friendly, so much so they will usually come up close and personal to say hi, like Alice below⬇️🖤

However, we understand some of our dogs are reactive to other dogs and may also be wary of other animals - ie, our cows. We will always let our visitors aware of their summertime neighbours (🐄) for your judgement of safety for your dogs.☺️ But, paws 🐾 on hearts ♥️ they are always 100% safe in our field no matter the surroundings, due to our 6 foot tall meshed fencing, double metal gates and large open area.🤺💯
