Happy 2nd Birthday to our beautiful Willow 🧡🥹

I’ve been walking Willow since she was a couple of months old, we’ve been through it all me and this lady!
You make me a better dog walker, you teach me to have patience and you’ve also put a spring back in to Hector.

Although Hector looks at you like the annoying little sister, he does love to play with you and walking next to you and he always swaps sides like a gentleman when we are next to roads to make sure your safe ( true he does)

You’ve always been a big part of HWH and we love you so much! 🧡🧡🧡

At the weekend we got lots of new toys & treats for Willow and she had a nice warm bath!

🧡🐾 2 YEARS OF HIKES WITH HECTOR 🐾🧡

2 years ago, I took a little idea and turned it into Hikes with Hector.

I honestly had no idea where it would take me.

Since then, I’ve met some amazing people, made some very special four-legged friends, been trusted with people’s absolute pride and joys, and created something that I’m genuinely so proud to call mine. 🥹🐶

There’s been muddy paws, wet clothes, early mornings, sore legs, crazy weather, plenty of laughs and a LOT of photos 😂

But there’s also been the harder side of the job. Over these two years, I’ve sadly had to say goodbye to some very special dogs who have crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈🐾 Dogs who started as clients but became little characters I looked forward to seeing and who will always hold a special place in my heart.

And behind it all has always been Hector. 🧡

He’s the reason Hikes with Hector exists, and although things are changing a little as he gets older, his name will always be at the heart of my business.

Hikes with Hector has also given me so much experience, confidence and knowledge with dogs — experience that has now led me to an amazing new opportunity working alongside an incredible dog daycare. 🐶🧡

I honestly don’t think I would be where I am now without Hikes with Hector, or without every single dog who has crossed my path over the last two years. Every dog has taught me something, whether it was about their behaviour, their individual needs, their personalities or simply how much they can become part of your life.

To every client who has booked me, recommended me, shared my posts, liked a photo, told a friend about me or simply supported me over the last two years — thank you.

You’ve helped turn something I started from a little idea into something I absolutely love, and something that has opened doors I never expected.

I’d also like to personally Thank Bark Boss, over the last year we have become incredibly close friends and Jess has been incredibly helpful not only as a friend, but as an advocate for my business. She’s always at the end of the phone when I have an idea, situation or just a rant! In an industry that can be very competitive, i want to thank you for being supportive 💚

Here’s to 2 years of Hikes with Hector… and whatever comes next. 🧡🐾

Today I got the devastating news that Rio had crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈

My heart is broken, Rio you were so loved by many. I will miss you baby boy 💙
