Pads pets Fully insured & qualified Dog walking and pet sitting services based in Ripon. Reliable care for when you can't be there.

I am fully insured to cover all services offered and I hold Diploma certificates in canine psychology, pet sitting/dog walking and ofqual level 3 canine first aid. All dogs must be fully vaccinated, up to date with flea/worm treatments and be wearing a collar and tag with the owners details on. For group walks, dogs must first come for an introductory trial before being booked for regular walks. This is to ensure that we always have the right mix of personalities on a group so that all the dogs are happy. I ask all clients for a bit of flexibility with timings as it is of upmost importance to me that the group dynamics work well, rather than trying to fit dogs into time slots. I will only ever work with force free/reward based training methods, ensuring your dogs individual needs are respected at all times. Pricing...

Group walks...£12 2nd dog from same household half price)

One to one walks....£18

Puppy home visits....from £8

Cat visits... £8

Small animal home visits £8

I offer a flexible service so please feel free to contact me to discuss your pets individual needs.

THE INDUSTRY IS GETTING VERY LOUD.

But loud doesn’t equal knowledgeable.
And confidence doesn’t equal expertise.

Don’t tell the marketing companies that though… apparently “say it louder, be more controversial and position yourself as the authority” is the go-to advice for every service-based industry.

Maybe we should focus less on being the loudest voice in the room and more on being skilled technicians and good educators.

Share quality information.
Promote other trainers when they put out something valuable.
Give credit where it’s due.

Collectively, we actually get to decide what floats to the top.

We can amplify thoughtful education, good training and genuine expertise.

Or we can keep rewarding the biggest egos, hottest takes and loudest voices.

Because the reality is…

Quality dog training doesn’t always look exciting. It doesn’t always sound controversial. And it doesn’t always make a great 15-second reel.

In fact, 98% of great dog training is probably the exact opposite.

Quiet.
Consistent.
Patient.
Thoughtful.

And repeated thousands of times when nobody is watching.
