Week 4 Maple update - This week Maple has been doing some small training sessions and learning some directional cues ready for when she starts hoopers in a couple of months.

Monty is now happy to share the sofa with her, small steps.
Lara was playing tug today and Maple tried to join but Lara was not having that so quick told her no thankyou, not today.
Grace is still indifferent đŸ˜†

She is growing each week and will hopefully grow into her ears eventually.

SLDT has some exciting plans for the new year (got to pass a course first).

For all those people who struggle with a dog with a high prey drive and who like to chase this would be for you.

New classes and workshops will be starting in the new year.

A new home is required for this 3year old female mixed breed dog Foxy.

She is from Sri Lanka and is settling in to the UK well.

She is generally OK with other dogs but doesn't like them getting in her space. She would suit a home with older children (14+) or a home with a retired couple who can give her the attention and care she deserves.

She has had cancer but has been given the all clear after full treatment in Sri Lanka.

Puppy social this morning was busy and super useful for all the pups and pet parents. We had a couple of super chilled adult dogs to help show the little ones some manners and that not everyone wants to play all the time.

Sorry missed last week on the Maple update so here is week 3 in the world of Maple.

She is gaining weight nicely as she grows, she is almost toilet trained and sleeping through the night.
We are currently going through the biting stage with her lovely needle teeth which is fun!!!

She is happy to play with a couple of the chickens and is speeding around the house like a whirlwind.

Training is going great, she sits and waits for her crate door to be opened and before she can come out, can do a down, touch and is learning directional cues ready for hoopers.

She has learnt so much from the adult dogs on Rachel's walks that she is growing into a well mannered dog.

A space has become available on the IMDT grade classes starting this Thursday at 1730. It is a 5 week course and is a nice progression from puppy/basic training classes.
