Due to this red extreme heat warning . I'm shutting the salon Wednesday and Thursday. I've chatted to my vets and this heat could be dangerous. A dogs safety will always be my top priority.

This Thursday's scorching forecast - almost 40°C in some areas! 🥵🔥 A red weather warning for extreme heat has been issued, and will be in place on Wednesday and Thursday. 🔴⚠️

A red warning means weather conditions are expected to be dangerous with widespread damage to property and a risk to life, with the public usually advised to avoid travelling. 🚂🚗

The Met Office has cautioned that the developing hot spell "will likely lead to widespread impacts on people and infrastructure" as exceptionally warm temperatures expected throughout both the day and night across the majority of Wales.

The warning covers Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carmarthenshire, Merthyr Tydfil, Monmouthshire, Neath Port Talbot, Newport, Powys, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Swansea, Torfaen and the Vale of Glamorgan. 📍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

My air-conditioning unit is a professional unit that has just had its yearly service and gas topped up and keeps the salon nice and cool. My dryers and hydrobath can both be turned down to run cooler.

In the unlikely event of a health issue, i will contact the dogs owner immediately, it's important you answer your phone and collect your dog straight away.
