💥 NEWSFLASH 💥

We will be running BE Lite classes in conjunction with our British Eventing one day event on Saturday 18th October. Entries are open NOW!

This is the first opportunity to compete in BE Lite in the south of England. So if you’ve been tempted to try BE but not quite taken the plunge maybe this is the perfect first step! No registration needed.

Entries can be made at https://www.myridinglife.com/eventdetails.aspx?id=578925

BE Lite is a new pilot initiative for the unaffiliated market designed to give more grassroots riders an introduction to British Eventing without the cost of membership or horse registration. The aim is to provide a fun and supportive experience, delivered by experienced organisers at unaffiliated events, where BE rules are relaxed and riders can benefit from British Eventing’s safety, welfare, and organisational standards.

BE Lite keeps the structure and feel of an eventing competition, with riders encouraged to complete the three phases and receive scores. However, results will not form part of official British Eventing records, so it also offers riders an opportunity to train and practice with their horse in a fun and relaxed environment.

Some of the rule adjustments are show in photos below, particular features include the ability to have a caller for dressage, relaxed dress rules and an option to miss a fence XC.

We look forward to seeing you on the 18th!
