⭐Star of the month! ⭐

⭐ IVY ⭐ - October 2026

Not only is Ivy my star of the month today, but it's also her 1st gotcha anniversary!! 🥹😭

Ivy turner up in the UK in a bit of a sorry state. She was put on a van in Romania and turned up at her owners house here in pretty poor condition. She needed vet treatment straight away and we weren't sure how she would develop as a result of her past.

I'm pleased to report that she has wildly exceeded expectations 😂 this girl is one of the best socialised, friendliest happy little dogs I have ever met. I started off training with Ivy and her owners before she eventually joined us here at daycare once a week. Ivy is a literal DREAM to look after. She is happy all the time and communicates so clearly with her little dinosaur noises when she's having a good time! 😆🦖

She is always the first to introduce herself to new dogs too when they arrive to help them feel at home, like the kid at school that shows new pupils around. She really is almost a little human. Daycare wouldn't be the same without you little one. We love you so much!! 💕🐾🦖🌿

Perfect day back after a week off. They're all extra cuddly today 😘❤️🐾

Today Lisa (Ted and Bo's owner) and I went to the Thin Blue Paw awards in Mayfair hosted by the Kennel Club, to celebrate the incredible bravery and skill of our nation's retired police dogs. Thin Blue Paw is an incredible charity that supports retired working dogs by helping to cover veterinary and rehabilitation costs, as well as providing the ongoing care and support they may need throughout their retirement.

They were one of the beneficiaries of Ted's fund (which now stands at £38000) and what an amazing charity they are. It was a privilege to hear the stories of both retired police and military dogs and also meet a few! Skills from searching for missing persons, to explosives detection to physically chasing and taking down offenders with their bare paws (and teeth!). Truly remarkable, and an honour to be there. Congratulations to all of the winners, so well deserved 🏆❤️🥰🐾

Ted's last book 'Happily Ever After: My final Journey with Gone Fishing' is out today!

I'm not going to lie, I still haven't been able to bring myself to read it. But I do know that my dog van gets a good mention 😅 as does the ADAA, who he was Ambassadog to.

I still get little pangs when I think about him and how much of a good boy he was. He has raised £38000 in his Justgiving fund (still growing) which has gone on to support multiple special and important charities. What a lad.

I thought I'd share a few photos from the last few years in tribute to Ted and in celebration of his final journey finally in print. We love you and miss you Ted ❤️🐾

Happy 4th birthday to our boy Geoff! Also known as BM (babe magnet) or Big G.

Always enthusiastic and ready to play at daycare - we are having a puppy party today to celebrate! Thanks to Becci and Joe for this rather spectacular mashed potato carroty meat cake for Geoff to share with his friends 😂 as usual, things went feral when I was dishing it out but they absolutely loved it!!

🏅We had SO much fun hosting Sports Day last year! 🏅

The ADAA has rolled out Sports Day nationally! To encourage all of our supporters and other doggy businesses to host their own!!

To all my doggy colleagues, we had the BEST day and so much fun, and we raised over £800 for the ADAA!!

The ADAA is a charity that supports and assessed owner trained assistance dog partnerships. We get no government or external funding at all, other than donations. Please consider supporting us by hosting your own mad day 😅😘

Otto has been on another date, this time with Minnie. I think he needs some encouragement at this point! 😅😘
