Chrissy’s Cavies Based in Redruth, Cornwall. I breed Golden American Crested as my purebred, exhibition cavies.

I also breed Teddies and a variety of mixed breed (pet) guinea pigs. Exhibiting my Americans and pets, at cavy shows, is something I really enjoy.

A few weeks ago, at Stithians Agricultural show, Chrissy’s Cavies exhibited in the cavy section. It was a wonderful day all round and thanks go to Chris Bird, his family and all the team involved in making it such a great show. Thanks also go to all the judges and everyone who helped make it such a special day.
All the pigs did us proud but here are a couple of our outstanding results. Very happy and very proud ☺️

The pigs and I had a wonderful day out, at the Somerset Cavy Club Show on Saturday 27th June. It was such a lovely show, with friendly exhibitors and encouraging judges. Thanks go to everyone that made the day so special. Roll on the next show in November.

Here’s a little departure from the norm, here. Shadow gave birth to 3 little Cali girls. Well, I think they are sows but I’ve no doubt a little w***y will appear at some point 🤣 I wouldn’t mind tbh, as I love my boars. They were just such wriggly worms, I couldn’t really see ❤️

I am getting more and more annoyed with people telling me they don’t like my pink eyed (not RED if you please) guinea pigs. The eye colour does not affect their personalities, as is the same for humans,
